The food at Asi Es Mi Tierra is definitely authentic and absolutely amazing. Being from Tucson where it is very easy to find excellent Mexican restaurants I have been repeatly disappointed with the Mexican restaurants up here in the Phoenix area. Every single one I've tried is either not very good or mediocre. After trying Asi Es Mi Tierra I was beyond ecstatic that I had finally discovered an excellent place. This restaurant definitely rivals the best Mexican restaurants in Tucson.
This is my favorit little place. This is my favorite Mexican place to eat. You have to get the shrimp cocktail here and their civichi tostadas, they are to die for. It is a little place and usually not crowded

Every time my friend and I go the food and service are out of this world. I love that the salsa has a little spicier taste... We don't get to go as often as we would like. She has been going since the now waiters were mere children. Love that it is family owned and operated.
Amazing food!!!! I just came here for the first time based on the great reviews and now I have been here multiple times in the last week. This place is amazing. Walked in and had a haze and smell of food being cooked to order. Meat is super flavorful, guacamole is made fresh, salsa is homemade and spicy! Food is not fast (which is a good thing) and damn it's authentic and tasty. I could eat the beans and rice all day! Wish they gave more chips as I love the spicy salsa! This is my new go to spot. I highly recommend you try it!
My son and I had lunch here several yearsnago and webtalked for hours as we scarfed down some delicious food. The food is delicious, the prices should go up here. Generous portions, low prices, excellent service. Whe we talked and held a table for all that time, i thought for sure someone wouldnshow us the doormbut we received no mean looks and no one told us that it was time to go. I have always looked forward to coming back here andntoday we hadnthe chance. Yummy food, excellent and gracious service, very low prices, very clean dining room……keep op the great work management. We love Mexican food and this place tastes like Tucson. Treat yourself. You wont be sorry. Ahhhhhh…their iced tea is a winner too. 👍😁
I love this place!! It’s a hole in the wall but don’t let that deter you. We’re from south Texas but we visit every time we are in the area. I love the Chile Colorado and the fajitas. My husband enjoys the menudo. Also, the tortillas are homemade. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!
This place is pretty good I definitely recommend you try it. We ordered a crunchy taco, soft taco, tamale and chicken enchilada hands down the tamale was the best. But the price was definitely a lot lower than expected.
Overall very nice place. Enjoyed the food and service. Could have used more fajita in the fajita. Tortillas were really good. Seafood cocktail was refreshing.

Wow love the food! I love authentic food and if that’s what you are looking for this is the place, great price and great portions I will be back with my family.
