The Getaway is a Laid back chill spot you can watch the game on one of many flat-screens, it's a pool hall so plenty smoke such as cigarettes, vapes and cigars.. The food was good and they do serve beer, clubtails and coolers... If your in the Perkins/Winchester area stop by and check it out..
A small neighborhood bar, we got there about 4, took a friend for a birthday drink. It looked a little sketchy when we arrived and was pretty empty on arrival. After a couple hrs the place filled up pretty quickly, They had great bar food, wings , fries and cold beer. The only issue I had was they don't serve anything harder than beer. Fun was had by all, I would definitely return, our bartender was extremely friendly.

This was a first time for me and I really enjoyed it. I like the fact that everyone got alone and that there was no bad vibes. This place is down to earth and people friendly. I will be going back soon.
I love coming to shoot pool here. There's a lot of great people that work there and that come there to shoot pool as well. They need to go 24 hours all week long though

We were in town staying the night while in the process of moving from Superior, WI. to New Orleans, LA. We tried three bars , that we though we'd be murdered at in 30 seconds or less, before finding this hidden gem. If you're in town and just want a quiet place to chill please visit this fine establishment! The bartenders and owner were fabulous, accommodating, and made us feel safe...the customers also made us feel very welcome and were extremely kind!

I had a really nice time they're my first time was going with Saturday morning the people with great the food was great the atmosphere was great I do see myself going back to this place again. Mask up
