Excellent sandwiches and bagels in a clean, well maintained setting. Service was a bit slow, and our order took quite a bit longer than expected, but the manager gave us a discount without us asking.
This is what's left of my delicious scrambled egg and sausage skillet, I added everything but tomatoes. Being stuck in a hotel room for work for the last couple weeks, I've been looking for some comfort food. Absolutely didn't disappoint, I thought I'd need salsa or ketchup for the potatoes but the flavors were perfect.
As a Philly native new to Memphis, I was super pumped to find The Bagel. The bacon egg and cheese was phenomenal, the cream cheese shmears are delish, and there's a bunch of great deli options. Will be back.

Excellent bagel shop! The service and the food were exquisite. My waitress was a delightful, energetic and savvy African-American girl who knew the entire menu impeccably. You could swear she had been born and raised in Tel Aviv's Park Tzameret neighborhood her whole life. I had a finger lickin' good lox salmon bagel and a corned beef knish, they were awesome!!!
My daughter and I went to The Bagel for the first time today. We ordered and waited initially for what seemed to be forever, since many people who arrived after us had already received their order and departed. When we received our order, I didn’t have an opportunity to view it until I’d arrived at my destination and it was all wrong and not at all what I expected.
So I went back and spoke with the manager who was very professional and extremely helpful. He not only apologized for the error but allowed me to replace my order immediately! Having relocated to Tennessee, we’ve had our share of unpleasant experiences. However this was certainly not one of those times. He was wonderful! It was greatly appreciated for sure and my family and I will definitely return. Oh yes....the food was excellent as well!
Got a Dozen to go. Havent tried them yet, but the Service was GREAT. I'm a New Yorker, so my expectations for a Bagel are probably not fair for Memphis. It's all in the Water. Looked like a pretty good lunch crowd too. Very clean.
I’m originally from the NYC area and this place is pretty good. The atmosphere was pleasant and the waitress was friendly and courteous. They messed up on our order but quickly fixed the error promptly, efficiently, and were very professional. The food was good, coffee was good. I will defiantly be back
Had the pastrami on marbled rye with provolone and mustard. It was amazing. Very flavorful pastrami and the bread was very good. Staff was very friendly and got our food out quickly. Highly recommend these guys.
I really liked it. This was the first time going here. I found it quiet, which I love. Most of the restaurants around here pipe loud music in and I can't hear them. This place doesn't.
The food is excellent. I had a reuben that was filling as well as tasty. They also have a nice kosher selection if that is important.

The food is absolutely incredible and its perfect for a quick bite. I really enjoyed their black and white cookies (super fresh) and their bagels are REALLY flavorful. We like the Asiago bagel with the chive cream cheese if you're feeling savory!
Other than that I'd definitely make some time and indulge in a potato latkes. They are really rich but totally worth it.
Customer service is really friendly and so far I've always been in and out pretty quickly.
