This was my first time in Memphis. This restaurant was recommended by someone. I must say the ribs were the best ribs I’ve ever eaten. Oh did I mention the sides were even delicious! I highly recommend you to stop by if your in Memphis your taste buds will be well satisfied.

I have been eating here since the 10th grade (over 30 years) and I haven’t found a better BBQ place yet. Every time I come home I have to stop and get some A & R. As soon as people find out I’m from Memphis their 1st question is always I’m going to Memphis soon who has the best BBQ??? My answer.... A & R��
Meh. Sweet sauce, not really that spicy. Better options in town.
Delicious delicious delicious! I ordered the rib plate with baked beans and potato salad and loved every bite. For those of you who love hot smoked sausages then you must order the smoked sausage sandwich. Their BBQ sauce is sweet but not too sweet. I can't wait to try the other dishes on their menu!
The food and service was great. Large portions, decent prices. Best items for me was BBQ bologna sandwich (fantastic). BBQ pork was good too. Beans were a standout! Awesome.
Local place in Hickory Hill just outside of Memphis. Ribs were tender and sauce was perfect! Smoked sausage and cole slaw was delicious. Highly recommend will definitely come back when in the area. Great folks! Very friendly and humble.
We had lunch catered today from A & R. The food was excellent. We had the pulled pork, slaw, potato salad, peach cobbler and I had a turkey leg. So stuffed after eating that the cobbler is still waiting to finish being devoured. I haven't had their bbq in years and was not disappointed. My favorite was the potato salad since I am slightly picky about what people add or if it has to much mayo or mustard, etc and it was on point. Go see Pit Master Mike @ the Hickory Hill location and taste how good the BBQ is!

Stopped in Memphis and we couldn’t figure out where to eat, we were so hungry and seen this place and stopped and omg! The best bbq. The sauce is to die for. The peach cobbler. So today were back for seconds. #RealBBQ
My cousin & I went to Memphis for the weekend and a guy at the airport recommended this place. We live in Atlanta but we are from North Carolina so we know good BBQ. This hit the SPOT. It was really good and priced well AND The potato salad did not disappoint.
A few different people digested this place as one of the better BBQ spots in Memphis. Tried it, loved it and will eat here again, if I'm ever in Tennessee again. Pork Shoulder Sandwich, half & half spicy/mild sauce, seasoned fries and Strawberry Fanta. I'm addicted to really good BBQ & this place is really good.
Everything was wonderful !!! The ribs, rib tips, sauce, and slaw was "Delicious". We (my family ) really enjoyed everything. Thank you so much 😊
This location is a great place for any gathering. It has a nice setup, and the food was amazingly delicious and hot. They also have wonderful customer service.
