Quaint little shop, just got a 1/3lb rib plate to go. Service was fast & kind. Wasn't busy at all. Ribs came dry rubbed. Seasoning was good enough. I tried the mild sauce which came in a pack. It wasn't bad at all. Only about 5 bones on the plate though. Meat was tender and soft. I got the baked beans and potato salad. Nothing too special about the two but they paired well as they were very tasty. The bread was two hamburger bunn tops, not toasted. And the pink lemonade was very awesome, even though it was fountain. The atmosphere is kinda tight, small lil tables. The portion to price is acceptable. A couple of 🪰 flying around but it's mainly an in & out joint. I would eat there again..
If you are from Memphis, then you know about Tops. It is our local chain BBQ restauraunt. Known for their "Chopped" pork BBQ sandwhich. Every other restaurant in this city does a "pulled" pork sandwhich. It is an amazing sandwhich and quick. Like any true southerner, make sure you get slaw on the sandwhich. The unsung hero at Tops is the cheeseburger though. It is consistent and soooo good. Pictured is the double cheeseburger, BBBq baked beans and crinkle cut fries. Go check them out.
I don’t know how this place is not 5 star I stopped here visiting from Fl the staff was amazing. Did take long to get are order the cook was talking to everyone there which was cool haven’t had good food since I’ve been in Memphis until I stopped here. After we received the food the cook came out asked us did we have everything we needed and how is the food. Best bbq I’ve had in a long time it felt like I was in old school barber shop
I always get the Barbecue Nachos and every time it gets better!

Cory worked the drive thru the night my family and I came out for dinner. Cory was extremely professional, polite, efficient and provided excellent customer service. I'm not sure who the manager maybe of this location but I request that Cory is given a raise and promotion. He gives this brand a great representation of service. It's truly hard to find outstanding workers nowadays.
This to me is by far the best Tops in town!! ALWAYS excellent, fast service, and the best burger in town!! I do and will continue to eat here at least once a week.
If you ain't had the Kool Aid ion know what you waiting on. I know the manager made them do something different to it so now it's not as sweet and as delicious as it once was but the girls and Dre' in da kitchen, my food is always on point!
Everyone was friendly and extra thoughtful. I placed a large online order that had several orders of nachos. They waited for me to get there to make them so the chips wouldn't be soggy. It didn't take long for them to make it all up and was well worth it.
Longest running BBQ chain in Memphis. Great smoky Q, generally chopped on the fine side. Go somewhere else if you like sweet ketchupy sauce, but I love the vinegary tang of Tops, hot or mild. Their fine chopped Q and slaw make a good sandwich that you don't pull half of it out when you take a bite.
