Update: We have been back several times now. The food is always AMAZING! I love how consistently wonderful the food and people are. We have now tried the Baklava as well. It's absolutely delicious! It's also the largest pieces of Baklava we have ever gotten anywhere. Eating there is always a great bargain for amazingly fresh and delicious food.
The food is incredible. We got the Veggie Plate and Falafel Sandwiches. It's the best Falafel I have ever eaten!!! Then there's the Garlic Potatoes, the Cauliflower, the Eggplant, the Stuffed Grape Leaves, etc. Everything is amazing! The people are super nice and the restaurant is very clean. This was my first time going there, but I believe I will be a regular. I am already craving it again.
Very good Mediterranean food and quality service in unassuming restaurant located in Cordova, TN.
I had the Vegetarian Platter (#8) and was impressed with the falafel, grape leaves, two different types of hummus, and salad! Very fulfilling, healthy food presented with care and experience.
Will definitely be returning!
Nice and warm place, family owned it seems! Food looks fresh, plates are fabulous and nicely presented, i loved my beef plate! Rice, falafel everything was good i will be coming back soon 💕
My first experience with Lenanese food and I can't wait to go back! 😋
We come here pretty often, but we came today on Christmas and it was so good! I got the beef shawarma plate, and we also ordered the lamb kofta and chicken shawarma plate. They give you lots of food and it’s fresh and delicious! Don’t forget the baklava. It’s the best in the city!
Cedar’s is probably one of most underrated places to go grab a Shawarma or Gyro. I have been a regular now since a few months and their quality is consistent. Very generous with portions and no qualms when I asked for extra pita. Hummus is excellent and so is the Baba Ghanoush. I recommend ordering ahead as the wait times can get long. The staff is very polite and obliging. Going back for more of my cravings!
If you’re looking to experience homemade style arabic food, Cedars Restaurant is a must! I usually order the chicken shawarma plate and substitute the standard salad for tabbouleh. The food is served quickly so ideal if you have a limited lunch break or are looking to save time on dinner without compromising great taste and quality food.
We stopped by this place for dinner. It’s a deli style Lebanese restaurant. It was not too crowded, however we were there in a late hour, right before their closing time. Both of us ordered a Shawarma platter. I ordered the chicken one while my friend ordered the beef one. The service was fast but not too mindful. We had to ask for water while they should have offered that before. However, the food was great. The rice and the grilled meat ( from vertical rotating pit) was great. The fresh salad was excellent. The hummus was usual, and the roasted garlic potato was terrific. The pita was rather underwhelming. I usually expect the pita to be hot and fluffy. This was cold, and doesn’t seem very fresh. But other foods in the platter was too good to compensate that. We ordered a piece of harissa ( semolina cake soaked in sugar syrup) was mediocre though. Overall we were satisfied and was super full. The portion size was huge, and I think one platter could be shared by two. I will again go back soon.
This is the place to go! Their food is spectacular, customer service is great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We got the gyro plate *chefs kiss*
Best food in the city! Chicken kebob plate is my favorite! Perfectly seasoned, grilled, tender and juicy! Served with rice, salad, humus and some garlic butter! A healthy balanced meal! I love coming here not just for the food, but also because of the owners and service! Munir is a great person!!
