Sooo glad we went with the daily special. Prime Rib Sandwich with a side of lobster mac'n cheese!!! Food was to die for and the service was top notch!!
We've been regulars at the Belmont for over 20 years. They've got it down to a very comfortable routine. They don't mess around with the menu much, they've got a good variety, so there's something for everyone. The quality is always spot on, and the food is delicious! It doesn't hurt that they also have a very well stocked bar. We always have 3 places in town that are our "default" if neither of us is in the mood to cook, and the Belmont has never lost its spot in the top 3.
I'm sure I've reviewed this place before, but we revisited this past week and I was reminded of what a good time we have here. The waitresses are always so sweet to us. Our food was delicious!
The server was ok, probably just new to the job. I had a Prime Rib sandwich w/2 loaded potato skins. Potatoes skins were very delicious. The sandwich was fatty and tough in some bites. I wouldn't order this sandwich again. Also ordered an order of hot wings to go. A little pricey all was $77 with a tip.
Always excellent for lunch. Tricky parking sometimes, but awesome food. Friday lunch prime rib is great, Mondays put roast is excellent, and everything down to the typical burger is just great food. Try it all and you'll be happy
This was my first visit to the Belmont grill, and I have to say I was not disappointed. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad, it was quite delicious. The shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, the lettuce was cool and chrisp with all the requisite accompanying vegetables. My friend had their signature Belmont Burger which he said was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and new the menu well, she was attentive without being overbearing.
All in all was a delightful experience and I would suggest if you haven't you should try it out.
Stopped in for lunch and was amazed by this grunge bar dinner. The grilled fish sandwich was the best I’ve ever had in Memphis!!!

We loooooove this place. It is an institution in Memphis and has some of the best food. We started with onion rings and fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce that was killer good.
I had the grilled chicken sandwich with potato skins for a side. Friends got the hamburger and roast beef au juice.
The atmosphere is cool with the lights down low. The bar is a classic neighborhood fixture. Rachel did a great job serving us as well. We can’t wait to go back.
Yumm! Bacon wrapped chicken livers, French dip, onion rings, everything was delicious. Neighborhood bar vibe. 70's rock playing and our server was super sweet. Can't wait to go back. We also got ribs to go!! We didn't have reservations at Houston's at 4:30 on Tuesday.. Best thing that could have happened..
Absolute favorite for many years. Try the burger, one of the best in the city. Service is always top notch. It's not fancy but it's cozy and authentic.
The steak sandwich was incredible! I could only eat half. The onion rings were very good too. I even enjoyed the fried mushrooms and I don't like mushrooms. Everything was hot and fresh. The service was good and the environment was very cool.
Great food and service. The atmosphere is kinda retro and homey. The fried cheese sticks were fantastic. I got the shrimp po' boy with onion rings and they were cooked to perfection. The portions are large so get ready to take home some leftovers. The fries are steak cut and delicious. Not the cheapest restaurant, but not terribly expensive. Definitely worth it. A great place to go on a date.
