Really flavorful food. I went for brunch on this visit but the pizza and shrimp appetizer is great too.
For brunch we had an omelette, shrimp benny, waffle, and shrimp and grits. It was ALL good. The shrimp and grits can be shared between 2 people because the portion is large. Also, they offer bottomless mimosas that are incredibly affordable.
Service is always great! Don't hesitate to try this place.
Update (April 24, 2022): Visited again and once more the staff was good and our order came out quicker than last time. Burger was good but the shimp scampi pasta was very oily.
Nice atmosphere with good staff. However it seemed like our order took a while to come out. The garlic knots were delicious. Chicken marsala had a good taste.
Came here with my girlfriend Melody, we had an amazing service, terrific food, and great atmosphere! We will be back! Their garlic knots are phenomenal, the pizza was delicious, and the dessert drinks were awesome!
They have a pretty good selection for brunch. The food and service was very good.
John's is a fantastic place for dinner and drinks. Do yourself a favor and get a seat on one of the two outdoor patios. Excellent selection of local craft beers and the food.... absolutely delicious. Thetes plenty of indoor seating as well plus a traditional bar area. The daily specials are very inexpensive and the portions are big for the price paid. You will likely meet the owner if you choose to visit.
We're down here in the Charlotte area visiting family and decided to check out John's Place. I can unequivocally say that we were not disappointed. The restaurant is well laid out and a comfortable atmosphere. Our group of 11 sat out on their patio which was spacious and heated. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and quick to meet our needs. None of this come close to comparing to how good the food was. Each member of our party loved our meals. The Bacon and Brie burger was fantastic. Plates were cleaned and bellies were satisfied. We will certainly be back here on our next trip down here.
Shared the Valentine's special tonight with my amazing husband. Our food was perfect! The service was excellent and our server, Kalin, was wonderful. Thanks to John's Place for a fantastic evening. Highly recommended!
My husband and I love everything about this restaurant. The food is so good no matter what you get. We typically get the Penne Al Vodka. The sauce is amazing! The drinks are so yummy too. My parents come to visit from Greenville, SC and we go every time their in town because they love it too. I wish I could give more stars
