Kabab-Je is top notch in quality food & service. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, this is it! My favorite restaurant, hands down! They never disappoint.
My family and I visited tonight for dinner and absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was amazing (ask for Yaz's section if you can; one of the most helpful and cheerful servers you'll ever meet). The food was fresh and flavorful. Definitely get the fried cauliflower as an appetizer. Our family had a variety of items, from kafta and lamb kebob to the classic shawarma, beef kebob, and lemon chicken soup. (We also had three different kinds of desserts.) Every dish was plentiful and seasoned/cooked perfectly. We're relatively new to the CLT area (11 months); this has quickly become one of our favorite places. If you're reading reviews, and debating about whether to go, stop the indecisiveness here and go visit KJ now! We live in Concord and we'll definitely make the drive down to Matthews often.
Awesome place with the very best food and the staff is always so nice and knowledgeable! Get the spicy potatoes. Not really very spicy or anything... just awesome. Never had a bad meal here and I have been several times and tried several entrees.
ALWAYS a great time. The service! The food! Never fail on a great dinning experience. The kabab, rice, & potato harra are always on point. It's clean, and welcoming! Enjoy listening irking over the counter to see what goodies are on display. Love all the dress vegetables displayed around the counter as well! GREAT PLACE!
Went here for lunch. The service was friendly and very attentive. The food was fresh and tasted great. The food on my plate came out steaming. I'll be back when in town.
I've visited twice now and both times had some of the best food I've ever eaten. The mujadarrah is so mouthwatering and the falafel is some of the tastiest I've run across. So economical too, I always end up taking half home because the portions are so generous.
The food is amazing...haven't tasted anything there I didn't like. The staff is great. Prices reasonable. I do wish they had combos with their wraps, but other than that all things good. The owner will greet you ane treat you like part of the family!
Just awesome. The food here is some of the best in the charlotte area, the staff and owner are very helpful and polite.
I have been there so many times and each time its been a great experience, the soujok, shawarma and kafta sanwiches are so good if you want something to go, but everything is delicious. The specials are really worth trying too.

Amazing. This is gourmet casual dining. If you like Mediterranean food, you have to try this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. This is as good as it gets. I've eaten all over the world and you can't fake fresh. They bake their own bread and create all of their dishes daily. Since I discovered this place I've been going twice a week.
Delicious food and great service make this a must stop for anyone in the area!
