Loupys Crabs

We ordered crabs from here yesterday for a Labor Day bbq we were having with family and friends. They were the absolute best crabs I have ever eaten. People were raving about the food!! We will definitely be ordering from there again. The garlic crabs were to die for!!!!

First of all, the owner was very nice to us! The Fried flounder was super crispy, well seasoned, and had no extra grease. The owner also packaged the food very well to ensure the customers don’t get a soggy meal. Delicious food that made my husband and I want more after we finished.

I'm going to break this review into 2 parts (Vibe and Food) Vibe: I went here after being recommended by my boyfriend. I looked at the reviews and despite some of the comments I decided to check this place out for myself. When I walked in the owner and staff were watching the Kentucky Derby, which I thought was cool. I got to ask them questions about it and he answered them. The conversation was nice as I told him I worked at a race track taking care of the workers. The owner was shocked and surprised once I told him this. He told his whole staff excitedly. He showed me his horse and was really friendly. The place felt welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed this place and it passed the "Vibe" check. Food: The owner made sure my food was package nicely and secure as he told me the best way to hold it to avoid any spills. Once I got home me and my boyfriend were blown away by the portion size. My food alone (seafood over pasta) was more than enough to share with my boyfriend and still have some left over. My boyfriend got a crab cake sandwich and we also got the seafood mac n cheese and a keylime pie. When I say the food was amazing, I mean it. The seafood mac n cheese was AMAZING and the best mac n cheese I ever had. I couldn't find any negative thing to say about our order. Everything was delicious. The keylime pie was so damn amazing that I took a bite and gave my boyfriend a bite and as I handed the container to my boyfriend he accidentally dropped it on the floor. I was ready to break up with him over that. Anyways, he picked it up and ate it. Yes, I know that's disgusting but it shows how much he liked it. Hands down the best seafood I had in a while and the serving size is mind blowing . Me and my boyfriend will be going back as we will try something new. This place gained 2 loyal customers. Thanks for the conversation and the amazing food. This isn’t a fake review. I have been reviewing places for years. Anyone can check out all my reviews and see it's legit, so trust me on this review and place. Everyone experience is different so don't let that be the deciding factor on not trying this place out. Go out and actually try it out for yourself.

We found this place on the internet, after discovering that our regular place was out of crabs. We used to reside in Maryland, so we know good crabs when we taste them. Loupy’s did not disappoint! The crabs were heavy, meaty and the customer service is A1! We now have a new favorite crab place! Do yourself a favor and get your blue crabs here. Thank me later! UPDATE: One year later, we are still satisfied customers. Loupy and staff have excellent customer service and the crabs are absolutely delicious!!! We were just there yesterday (see photo). Although the gas prices are crazy and we live 1.5 hours (one way), we will drive right pass other crab places to go there. Thank you, Loupy!

Everything was fresh and delicious! The garlic crabs were amazing! Loved them cooked and cleaned. We will definitely come back and try the other menu options.
