Enjoyed their pizza. Tasted good. Calzone was loaded with pepperoni. Priced reasonable considering how much cost of living has gone up so much.
I'm from NY and know good pizza. This is good pizza. Placed an order to go and the girls behind the counter were really nice and helped me figure out what to order. They explained ahead of time that the pie had just gone in the oven and it would be a bit of a wait. I don't mind waiting for fresh food, so I waited. When I got home and opened the box I was impressed. Then I took a bite and I was even more impressed. It was delicious. I can't wait to go back to try more things. I got simple Sicilian slices with pepperoni, but they were great. They put cheese on top of the pepperoni! :)
I called and asked for a thin crust pizza and received a loaded box. I ended up eating the crust and the toppings. It was good, it would have been better if they provided the option and were honest about what they offer.
Pisa Pizza is very good, probably the best pizza I've had in Malden so far. I've had their sheetza and regular pie.
The sheet pizza is actually a really good value if you're ordering for a large group. It has a lot of dough (and their dough tastes phenomenal) and the sauce and cheese are both really good. The pie pizza is more of a thin crust new york style with a crispy bottom and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The price is a little high ($20) but it's worth $20.
Every time I have ordered from Pisa so far it's been consistently high quality too. Their box says "we're only as good as our last pizza" which rings true for me as I usually order pizza about 1 hour before close. They have also been very accommodating with random special requests which I appreciate a lot. Highly recommend them!
As always very welcoming simple and nice place. The interior is pretty old, with its own history and its loyal customers. The pizza is delicious, the prices are not high.
