My new favorite place! Excellent pizza, New Haven style. Mashed potato pizza is awesome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good, traditional Italian cooking.
I'm from Virginia and with this being my first Connecticut pizza, I was impressed. I love the thin crust and the flavor of the sauce was so good! I liked that you picked up your to go food at the window and didn't have to go inside.
This is the best pizza outside of New Haven , and better than most of New Haven. Amato is the man! Madison is so lucky he carried on his family’s tradition and recipes and brought a real Apizza place to town. Everything else in the area is garbage, this is the only real apizza place to go to! & the Eggplant Parm is award winning!
The pizza here is so delicious! Tried the clams casino pizza and was very impressed. Amato’s pizza is the best around and I would highly recommend giving it a try, if you haven’t already!
Their basic pizzas are great in their own, but its their specialty pizzas that grab you. Specifically their Chipotle Chicken Pizza is amazing. Just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend. Order early because they get busy!

BEST OF THE BEST! Hands down the most delicious PIZZA on the shoreline if not EVER!
Found this little spot when my husband and I first moved to the area in 2020, and we haven’t been able to stop enjoying their delicious pizza ever since. It’s our go to every time people visit! Our favorites are their Napolitano and regular cheese w meatballs and black olives (well done)! We’ve also had the salads, mozzarella sticks, the cannolis, cheesecake, veggie pizza, everything is incredible! They recently started selling their sauce and I’ll tell you this, I’ll never by store bought ever again! Amato’s sauce is unbelievable!
We love Amato and Jordyn as well. Super friendly and always have a smile on their face.

The pizza is incredible! Its thin type pizza which I enjoy. The sauce is so delicious, the cheese is of higher quality than the average. Fresh dough, and a good crunch to the crust. The prices are very good as well. Cheaper than the other local pizza places which is smart if they want to keep up with B-wall and Grand. Definitely going here again!

Is always great to know you don't have to go far to get far to get good pizza.
