Great little family run bakery with the most friendly staff! Quickly became our go to place! A great variety of sweet and savory items, including breakfast and lunch sandwhiches that are fairly priced. Try one of their Dutch style savory meat pasties with gravy, yum, yum! And cheaper than anywhere else. They are open for breakfast and lunch until 2:00. They also have a great little tea shop selling a variety of tea pots and home goods, and some mackinaw items cheaper than anywhere else. Really glad we found this little gem, keep up the great and friendly work!! John & James
A fantastic place for breakfast. They have the best donuts in town and their coffee is phenomenal. Especially their danishes and extra bakery goods they make every morning. A fantastic way to start your day.
A very cute little bakery in Mackinaw city. Huge selection of pastries and a good spot to grab a quick breakfast before heading to Mackinac Island. We got the breakfast croissant and it was delicious. Service was pretty quick. Coffee was average and chocolate chip cookie was not the greatest but the blueberry scone was very good.
Awesome breakfast bagel. Absolutely awesome. So soft and fresh. Easy to bite through. We got the sausage cheese egg. One on an onion bagel one on an everything bagel. Both were delicious.
Donuts looked great too. We got a peanut butter long John and a blueberry Danish. Really good. Worth it.
This place is huge. It looks like it took over three stores. Lots of extra stuff to buy.
We had wonderful bagel sandwiches except plain. Oregon chai was good to try. Donuts were good too.

We just went there today. All the staff are really nice! My husband and I bought pastry and coffee. I got the cinnamon pastry topped with pecan, a blueberry scone and apple fritter and all darn so good!! I can say that as my favorite breakfast is pastry and coffee and I’m kinda picky when it comes to pastry and coffee. But this bakery is just one of the best ones. Price is very reasonable too. My highlight going to that place.. it’s my coffee!!! The best coffee mocha I ever had. 🤩🤩🤩
I love Starbucks, don’t get me wrong, but if you go to these kind of tourist places, best advice.. try the local bakery and cafes’ coz most of the time they got the best quality. And this bakery gave me the best coffee mocha.🥰🥰🥰👍🏼👍🏼
Family tradition!! Been goin there since child for the weekly get togethers of locals and catching up...even sells our families locally harvested honey!! Great people great workers..best donuts ever!! Selections of not just donuts.. everything offered here now shopping..nick nacks .. everything ..the place has grown through out the years but same smiling familiar faces and always worth it!!

Cinnamon rolls, donuts, sandwiches, soups, especially the broccoli cheese soup are all delicious no matter what you get here and the prices are outstanding!! Off the beaten path, but definitely a feature of mackinaw city!!
I truly enjoyed two morning breakfast visits to the Mackinaw Bakery, during my visit to Mackinaw city. The bakery treats are amazing, fresh and worth the trip! Best Pastie I’ve ever tried and the gravy is to die for!
