We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here! We’ve never been before but we’ll definitely be coming back. Jay was our waiter he was phenomenal! We never had to ask for anything because he was on top of everything before we needed it!

Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant in Lubbock was great! I’ve been waiting to visit and was bummed when the College Station location closed. I finally was able to go. I went with the Mexican Stack with had a crispy tortilla and I’d get it again. The queso is also good. There’s a lot I want to try and I’d get drinks next time.

Great music on the patio. Makes you wish the wait time was a little longer. Great chips and salsa, any menu item is sure to please. Wait staff are friendly and attentive. Abuelos is one of my favorites.

Came for my birthday dinner and our server Matthew helped up pick a great mean the grande and shrimp salad with mandarin oranges even upsold me from my water to a house margarita. Everything so great and prices were even better! Happy Birthday to Me!

First time eating here while staying in Lubbock.. The service the atmosphere and the food ALL AMAZING!! Will be back on my next visit. Highly recommend this place🙂🌻

One of the best Mexican places around. I love the chicken fajitas and the pechuga con calabaza. The tres leches cake is also a must try. The staff is very quick in serving and patient too. The chips and salsas are super fresh and tasty too. The ambience is really good. Nice place to dine at. Would definitely keep coming back.
