It was so busy that we didn’t get refills on drinks. We had to stand and wait 15 minutes to be seated which I was fine with because they were crowded. The food was very good. But again service could have been better.
This was a nostalgia trip for me and my husband. The food was hot and consistently replenished. Our server was attentive and had a wonderful manner. If we find ourselves back in Louisville, we will visit again.

After failing to follow wife's pancake recipe twice, it was time to enjoy it elsewhere.
The jovial crew- Ann, Camillia, Corey, Cruz, Denise, Stephon, and Theo.
These folks were all in with the smiles and lending hands... creating a cozy, mom and pop shop feel.
The foods were hot and fresh. An attendant continually wiped down the bar.
Located right off 65 and Fern Valley Rd exit.
Had AMAZING service with Jessie. Took very good care of us, super friendly. The Buffett was excellent. Hot fresh food. Was able to get breakfast and brunch together on the bar. Buffet 7-3. Closed on Mondays.
We usually go for their breakfast buffet. The place is packed on the weekends, but worth it. They serve cereal all the way up to biscuits and gravy. Their manager can be seen out helping his employees and talking to people. They lije to make sure you leave happy and full!
First time in 30 years that I have ate at Shoney's! Just as good as I remember it! Great breakfast buffet!!!
IMHO y'all missing a great deal of comfort food at Shoney's. I visited this location close to the airport SDF.
Upon arrival and all the way to leaving staff was friendly professional quick and attentive but not overwhelming. They let you eat peacefully and enjoy your meal. Today was senior Tuesday, which means the AYCE buffet is at discounted price for everyone not just seniors!
I went because I wanted a salad bar....but as you can see I enjoyed some fried chicken that was juice and crunchy. Plus a few other things. This is a great deal! Drink is included! Not sure why it is not fully packed on Tuesdays at the very least.
The place is clean, parking is easy and with a buffet you get to eat very quickly.
Grandpa takes care of business as does his whole team. I know I will be there often for the salad bar 👍❤
Please tip your sever accordingly. They keep the place inviting for all of us. I almost didn't want to write all the good things because then it will get packed lol.
Just got done eating at Shoney's with the family. Shoney's is a classic buffet restaurant. We went during breakfast but they also have a dinner buffet. I've been to Shoney's during both buffets and the dinner buffet is okay but the breakfast buffet is pretty good. They have a nice wide selection of breakfast foods as well as a salad bar and a dessert bar. You also have the option to order off a menu but most people just get the buffet.
if you go to shoney's. Jessie is most def the most respectful attentive waiter in the whole establishment. And we love his service
The food was lackluster with very few options other than frozen and boxed foods. The service is always great and the staff were kind
