We stopped in for breakfast with family, got in fast, we all got plenty of good food, my nephew Joshua and his wife Melissa had never ate there, they said they loved the place.
I live within walking distance from this restaurant, so I eat there often. I don't have a negative thing to say about Sue's. The facilities are neat and clean, as is the lobby. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, you seat yourself upon arrival, and soon after, a waitress promptly attends to your order. The business is rarely busy to the point of a long wait time. The employees are always kind, respectful of things such as drink refills and the such. I will definitely eat here when I can afford to, not that the food is overpriced, on the contrary, it is my opinion that the prices are very reasonable. 10+ ✨ if I could...
Wonderful comfort food. Pork chops and pork loin are most excellent. Very generous portions. Servers are attentive but not intrusive. Daily specials, entree 3 sides and a drink are less than 15 dollars before tip. My fave is Thursday meatloaf with pinto beans, au gratin potatoes and spinach.
Food is good and you get plenty to eat. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is very good. They have wonderful fried chicken. You do have to wait for it to cook, but certainly worth the wait.
The waitresses are phenomenal. We had Amy. And Amy was very attentive to our table. All the staff are awesome. Including the people that bust the tables. It is a great place to eat. Food is excellent. I haven't gotten a bad meal there yet. Big portions and very affordable.
Great, simple southern cooking. French toast was not to my liking but the breakfast platter and the roast beef and mashed potatoes were delicious.
I’ve gone here since I was kid and have loved it 99% of the time in that 30 year span. Through various owners it’s just always managed to be to good no matter what and this newest iteration has been perfect every time!
Great home cooking along with awesome service! We have been eating breakfast there on Fridays for over 2 years. Our group loves it.
This is where the locals eat. The soups are homemade. The cobblers are as well. I'd venture to guess that just about everything here is homemade. The prices are extremely reasonable. The waitress was responsive and welcoming. The service was great!
OMG if your nor paying attention you'll miss some of the best food in the Shively area.
