I really wanted to like this place.... And did. too much complaining around review boards. friendly staff, my mocha wasn't too sweet like stxxxxbucks either. asked for a to go container for the portion of the large piece of cake I shouldn't have dated but was so good I devoured it. surprisingly I'm the only one here... check it out!
I stopped by this restaurant on a Sunday. The staff was very friendly. I had a piece of double crust apple pie A'la mode. It was fantastic. The apple were cooked to perfection. The ice cream tasted exactly how I remember my Grandma used to make it. This will be my new sunday afternoon location.
Best Pie Ever. My friend and I stopped here before heading back home to Michigan to get pie. I had read about it, in Jane & Michael Stern's 5oo Things to Eat Before It's Too Late. We ordered our pie to go, and brought a cooler, so we could bring it home with us.
The banana meringue pie was divine. My husband had the strawberry rhubarb, and he said it was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and with a sour bite to each taste. My parents split the pecan and enjoyed it. I thought the banana meringue couldn't be topped until I tried the chocolate chess, and that blew my mind. Just amazing.
I am hoping to head back to Louisville soon, because the pie is just too good to be true.
Delicious. The service here isn't always great (I've been ignored on more than one occasion), but the treats are quite good. I've sampled many of their offerings since they opened. My favorites: chocolate covered cherry pie (I've yet to find this anywhere else), upside down chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting, praline cheesecake. The prices are a little steep, but I'm willing to pay for high quality and local business.
Really, like homemade. My family and co-workers love this place.

My husband and I ordered two chocolate malts and a slice of lemon meringue pie today. They were delicious! More importantly, it was a refreshing change to receive such friendly customer service.
Awesome Order! I had a bizarre yet important Sweet 16 birthday "cake" order and they fulfilled it with no questions asked! Cookie cake and buckeyes! My daughter was so happy!! The folks also put it in a perfect easy to carry container.
Used to be one of my favorite places for dessert, but the price of a pie is now $27, more than double from a couple years ago. Sorry no pie is worth that.
Went one weekend, brought my family after eating dinner. Line was long but employees pushed through it. My son has a nut allergy and they sanitized it thoroughly for him to be able to eat the orange sherbet. Will be back!
Great service. They were super patient with all of my kids choosing just what they want. Pie was rich and amazing!
So good and so fresh! Everything made in-house. The Wife and I split this dish and oh my was it goooood! Ice cream was a peanut butter and chocolate choice. SO GOOD. Can't remember the name of it tho, but it had buckeyes in it as well. YUM!
They did an excellent job with Rose's birthday cake. Was done exactly how I had asked for. My only complaint, was that on 1 of your busiest days, why wouldn't you have scheduled more than 2 people to be working.
The young lady that waited on me was friendly and going as fast as she could, so customers didn't have a long wait time.
So good! Hubby had warm Dutch apple pie covered in carmal a la mode. I had 2 scoops. Everything is home made with local ingredients as much as possible. Worth the trip for uniqueness.
Best Ice cream I’ve had around this area but the 2 girls working had horrible attitudes and were miserable 06/13/2023 at 7:45 pm
