I stopped in for an ice cream cone and ended up stuffing myself with a delicious sundae. The place was very clean and the person behind the counter was really friendly. In these days of high prices, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of their ice cream sundaes. For $6 (not much more than an ice cream cone) I got a large cup overflowing with ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, nuts, and even several cherries on top. I will definitely return to Ehrler's the next time I'm in Louisville, but I will bring a friend to help me eat a delicious sundae.
Great ice cream shop. I tried some Ehler's ice cream while being at the Louisville Convention Center. It is apparently pretty popular with the locals, and for good reason. I tried the cookies and cream ice cream, just one scoop.
It was quite good. The portion is fine for the price (which is a little high). The employees were friendly when serving me as well. It was made quickly and the wait wasn't long.
Flavor-wise, nice and creamy. They added a great amount of cookies in there. Not the most inventive menu, but they do make good classic ice cream.
All in all, a nice spot to check out on a hot day. The service is efficient, the flavors are good, and the prices are little high but they give you nice portions.
We love the atmosphere, it was cozy but yet spacious. Customer service was AMAZING! The employee that took our order was knowledgeable, very patient with us. (Thank you😘) The brownie was delicious, the ice cream was delicious. We love the container our sundae was made in and the cute orange reusable spoons. We enjoyed our experience at Ehrler's, we will be back🙌🏻
Great place for a tasty treat. Be warned. 1 scoop is all you need. As you can see in the pic, we ordered 2 scoops each thinking they would be small scoops. Not hardly. Great tasting cones and ice cream!
I liked this place a lot. The person that helped me was super kind and accommodating. We opted for the peach ice cream. It was very good!

Classic flavors and sundae twists are staples of this cute shop! The employees are very outgoing, eager to help customers, and seem to really enjoy their jobs which makes the experience 10x better!
The place was busy but we didn’t have to wait too long. Employees were courteous and helpful. I wasn’t expecting such a large portion when I ordered two scoops. It was delicious, but more than I could eat! We had to park a couple blocks away, but we’re from out of town, there could’ve been closer parking we didn’t know about. Also, all the employees were behind the counter, no one was keeping the tables clean. Give them a try.
This was pretty good ice cream, not the best I’ve ever had but good. I wish they would display their servings sizes better though, as I got a regular cup and it was HUGE because they really loaded it on. I ended up throwing most of it out as it melted and I was full; I really should have gotten a kids cup. My friend had the bourbon sundae and it was delicious, but the serving size was better suited to 2 or 3 people. My husband loved their peach ice cream. Be aware that it seems they often have a wait, ours was about 10-15 minutes.
We ordered the bourbon sundae and it was fabulous!!! The bourbon pecan sauce was second to none! I don’t like brownies, but even the brownie was good. If you come to Louisville, Ehrler’s is a MUST stop.
Service was great! Young man and lady that waited on us were pleasant and respectful. Ice cream was delicious and refreshing on a very warm night. Only downside was the music playing. Prices are reasonable.While we are lovers of most genres of music....it wasn't family friendly and the lyrics were not something we want our children forced to listen to while having family time and enjoying time out together.its sad that people visiting from out of town have to be subject to it also. Not sure why places think it appropriate in this venue maybe later at night in a club setting but not an ice cream shop.
