Hands down best pizza in Louisville and Southern Indiana! They are consistently delicious, and they have a wide variety of craft beers on tap and in bottles. This is the best little gem in the highlands!
This year- it is 2018, they tell me, - and I am here to say that I have enjoyed pizza with both regularity and frequency all over the place, yet, that this is still my favorite.
I have lived all over this crazy cookie we call our country- and I’m tellin’ ya’- this place has the magic.
Much love to Za’s. Thank you.
Love the Garden Za. We just moved here and our neighbors took us. Everything was awesome. The garden za is a simple garlic, tomato, and spinach pizza yet is amazing.
5/5. Great pizza, nothing fancy, just great pizza. Wonderful pub atmosphere
GREAT pizza and cheese sticks. Had a horrible service experience.
Great Pizza. Even though I'm not much of a pizza person, I do enjoy Za's pizza every time I go to eat there and the service is pretty acceptable.
Delicious pizza. I love the pizza at Za's. It might just be my favorite pizza in the Highlands. They have lots of premium toppings and HEALTHY PIZZA OPTIONS!!! You can get low-fat cheese (which is not rubbery at all) and whole grain crust. My only suggestion is to go when you have time to relax, enjoy a few drinks, and wait patiently for your food. You will not get a quick bite to eat at Za's. Fortunately they have a large selection of craft beer to keep you happy while you wait:)
Chicken Artichoke Pizza. Yum, get the biggest size they have and take it home to eat for a week. Like Wicks, thicker pizza, not the cleanest place in the world and the service is average with attitude but if you're in the highlands looking for pie.....
I like the whole-wheat crust and easy-going atmosphere.
Best flavor pizza in the neighborhood. I tried Tony Boom-Bozz, Bearno's, Wicks, and Spinelli's, and I just keep coming back to Za's! The six-cheese on thick crust is my favorite. Not for the faint of heart, rich and dripping with goodness. Atmosphere is that of an 80s country bar, but I'd eat anywhere for this pizza. It's a shame that they don't deliver.
Haven’t ate here in awhile but still one of my go to recommendations for people in the area! I still think about their delicious cheese pizza all the time!
Everyone there is so extremely friendly! Food is 10/10!
I wish I was able to doordash or get delivery to where I live those are my only downfalls because getting down there to pick up food is really hard in the evenings!
really good pizza! cool spot to sit outside by bardstown rd. will be back!
My husband and I went with 2 co-workers at about 6:30. We easily got a table, the server was super nice, the calzones were good (and even better the next day as leftovers), and the drinks were decent. Definitely recommended.
Hunter took care of us. First time in there. He waited on us and even made our food! It was crazy. The pizza was amazing. We were the only ones in there. It was kind of an odd time we showed up. I think it was around 1:00. Hunter was very friendly and entertaining. It’s definitely worth coming back for more!
Excellent pie! I got a 10" pizza, and I could have easily eaten the whole thing, it was so good! Like, I'm taking half of it home to enjoy the rest later! A nice place to hang out at a table out front, if you can manage to get one, and people watch. Or dog watch, because there are tons of dogs being walked in his neighborhood! I love one-of-a-kind places such as this. Highly recommended if you enjoy that kind of pizza. If you don't, go eat at Domino's or something! :-)
I love Zas. Shelby and Lindsey are just great. They make their bread fresh as well. It's a bit of a wait because they make it upon order, however, it is worth it!
Pizza was good, but The sauce was a little runny. Which in turn made the dough a little doughy, and not as crisp as it should have been. If you're in the area it's a pretty good choice but wouldn't go out of my way.
Cute little joint with friendly staff and great food!
Only been here once but I loved it! It had a lot of great things on the walls to stare at. They attract a trendy crowd but it's never too crowd but it's never too packed. They also have pool tables in the back and full bar for those who like to drink.
I would recommend the calzone, they are huge and tasty! I'm not sure I would take my daughter here because it's more of a bar scene than anything but I do hear they have outdoor seating in the summer which is really nice.
Tasty pizza with a great selection of toppings and options. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great comfort food. Nice drink selection. Awesome place to relax and people-watch.
I am usually a New York style thin crust fan but this Louisville style pizza really hit the spot for me. Our bill was $33 with a 14 inch pizza and 2 beers - very affordable. We took home some leftover slices and they were just as great heated up in the air fryer. Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.
