Sergio's is an eclectic place with European traditions. Let's start here...Sergio's has THE BEST beer selection in the United States and Top 10 in the world. If you are going to Sergio's for any other reason, you may be disappointed. The food is decent, certainly edible. It's cash only, which can be a hassle. You order at the bar only and keep empties for an honor system check out. (Kinda cool) The building is small and a bit cramped due to the beer cooler lined walls but Sergio's does not disappoint on beer! The place is like a beer museum. Bring your liver and your wallet. Where's Sergio?
If you love beer this place is a must!!!! A style for everyone, plenty of rares. The owner is so knowledgeable. Truely beer heaven!!
Absolutely outstanding find! Behind an unassuming store front that you question if it’s the right place is a Truly UNIQUE one of a kind place with more beers then you could even have time to go through! Do yourself a favor and go experience history as well as flavors for any and every pallet. From the endless floor to ceiling decor and finds in each nook and cranny, the only way you’d be disappointed is if you are stuck in a pretentious mindset.
This place has to be experienced. One of the more unique beer bars I have ever been to. Fine stars for the vibes from Sergio and Kelly alone. Prices are steep but the selection, both bottles and draft, are incredible.
Cool joint reminiscent of a beer bar out of Barcelona. Tough to find, so docking 1 star. The back door has enough security cams to make you think twice about walking inside. What follows next is an endless maze of flag doors, beer, and confusion before surfacing the "Bar of 1000 beer glasses". Bring Cash! They don't accept CC.
Favorite bar in town. No frills, cash only, but the selection and atmosphere makes it feel like a real modern day speakeasy, if you don't know how to get in, it can be difficult, and that adds to the charm.
Sergio himself is a cool dude, and it's a great place to post up with friends, play board games, chill, and experience new things.
If you're expecting a normal bar or bar experience you aren't gonna find that here, it's not like anywhere else and that's the point.
This place is definitely still open, it just doesn't look like it from the outside. Pull on that door handle, come inside and be amazed by the over 1800 different beers organized by region of the world it comes from. You'll definitely find some new favorites.
Sergio’s world of beer in Louisville!! I would never have opened this door (pic 1) but so glad we did. Unbelievable selection of beer it just goes on and on. Pic 2 is the Bavarian vault. There are beers from Germany, Netherland, Iceland and Scotland and the list goes on and on and on . .
My husband and I absolutely love this place! The beer is exceptional, stuff you literally can’t get anywhere else. The food is also REALLY good, with unique choices. Plus, you can’t beat the company. Sergio can recommend something you will definitely love. So, friendly atmosphere with so many great beer and food choices….a total win. We drive down to Louisville from Indianapolis just to visit Sergio and his World of Beers!
Great place, you will never see the selection of beer he has anywhere else. Sergio is very knowledgeable and a great guy. Place is hard to find however it is a can't miss. We will go anytime we are in town.
Sergio's isn't a bar it's a pub!! It's probably the only place where Beer is the subject. The staff makes everyone feel at home! There's nowhere like Sergio's World of Beer!!

You won't find any mass produced, common domrstics...just some of the world's greatest beers of various styles. 40+ on draft, roughly 1700 different beers in inventory. Package license so you can take some with you. A must for any true beer enthusiast...
