Totally exceeded expectations...service was spot on and super knowledgeable...menu has a wide variety including pizza and classic Italian recipes...atmosphere is unlike any other I’ve experienced...beer on tap was excellent...food was outstanding! Not one complaint...one of the best places in town!
Very professional and courteous staff! The owner is a client of mine and I really enjoy eating here. The food is amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone!
Located right off of Bardstown road and blends in with the neighborhood perfectly. The food was and service were both good. I liked the cool booth we ate in which can halfway close if you want it to. We had the meatball appetizer , I had chicken Alfredo and I forgot name of her dish. The food was good and hot and the wait wasn’t too long. She enjoyed her drink and I like how they left the ice cold bottle of water at the table for us as well. I would definitely return and enjoyed my first visit.
A hidden gem with a fun atmosphere! Love the live plants, they add so much character
and charm. We did a late lunch and service was fast. We enjoyed a glass of wine with our bruschetta. The food was delicious and served hot.
The place is really fun, I love the decor and artwork, there is so much to look at! The food was good and the menu took me back to Italy with offerings like pear gorgonzola pasta 😋. Servers were kind. The beer glass I had was dirty for barware, see all the CO2 collecting on the wall of the glass.
I drive by Ciao all the time and figured I'd give it a shot. Can't be no worse than the other pizza joints that surround me. I'm glad I stopped too. The presentation of the pizza was perfect and when I bit into a slice the flavors instantly took over. Brilliant recipe and unique. I absolutely loved it and I'll be back for more. Oh there prices are better as well. If you're tired of the other places give Ciao's a try. You'll be glad you did.
I saw this restaurant on a TV show and wanted to try it. I'm not really sure what to think about this place. It was pleasant, but just like everywhere else it was short staffed and the guy who was everything to everybody was a sweaty mess and it was extremely off-putting to have my food served from someone who is sweating all over everything. I ordered the Tapestry Dance drink and a hamburger and fries to be safe. The hamburger was cooked exactly how I like it. The vegetable soup was regular I COULDA MADE THAT🤔. I noticed a lot of seasoned guests come there and the atmosphere was dimmed lighting. It was hard to read the menu and walk to the bathroom on my cane because of the lighting. I LOVE the huge ice cube in the drink and the cute little clip on the side of the glass with the delicious cookie. It was an experience that I'm glad I had.
Went to Ciao for the first time for a birthday dinner. The whole experience was wonderful. Our server was very nice and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend this hidden treasure in the Irish Hill neighborhood. We’ll be back!
Alexis provided excellent customer service. She was very kind and professional.
The ambiance was nice, friendly and pleasant.
The food was great. The Monkey bread was top-notch. I loved the Short Rib Ravioli.
1st time visit and my wife and I both absolutely loved the food. We got the crab arancini a geez these were complete perfection and the sauce was a fantastic touch of flavor. I probably could have eaten 10 of these.
The wife's meal was pasta carbonara (minus the pancetta). Many carbonaras that I have had the yolk was already mixed in. This has a perfectly prepared egg rested on top and once split, it poured across the top and was fantastic.
I ordered the eggplant parmigiana. This was a huge portion with a few thick cut egg plant that was perfectly breaded, a mild sweet sauce and thick fresh cheese on top.
I drove about 40min to try this place out and I will 100% be back
Everything was very good. Food was top notch. Cocktails were very sophisticated and flavorful. They take pride it was they make and our server was awesome. She's had a great personality and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back.
Update. Food was good. Atmosphere was a little different than last time but everyone was real nice. Great service.
Food was very pretty and pleasant. Service was good but not outstanding. They brought us bread but we had to request balsamic and oil. We were sat at a very small narrow table
In a cubby despite fact place was almost empty. We shared a tomato salad that was very nice. I tried the mussels from the appetizer as my meal and my companion had the white chicken pizza.
