Great food. Awesome mojitos. Great service. Only negative was tables are a little small. Other than that it’s awesome. I ordered the Havana Rumba (basically a cubano)
If you are looking for a fun place to hangout with you family and friends with some peppy music while sipping on chilled Mojitos, this is the place you are looking for. Along with the Mojitos, the place offers fantastic Cuban cuisine. In the appetizers the gaucomole with banana chips and Camarones al ajillo (shrimp) are a treat for the taste buds. The place offers the best fish that I have in recent times Pescado a la parrilla (Swai fish). The staff was very helpful and courteous. The live music (bongos I guess) makes it a lot more fun to complement the ambiance.

Delicious. The atmosphere perfectly fits the cuisine. The food tantalizes the taste buds and makes you want to come back to try everything on the menu.
I have similar feelings about this location as I do their St. Mathews place, but I tend to prefer St. Mathews for some reason. Can be depended on for good food and service, and big crowds at times!
Love love love this place! Their vegetarian empanadas and Caesar salad are to die for! Love the atmosphere and the staff--fun, friendly, and professional. This place is a must!
Nothing can go wrong with this place. Excellent Food, beautiful patio, nice music and wonderful staff. What else you can expect from any restaurant. I have only given 4.5 since very few options for vegetarian people like me. But they have few options which are very good.
Wonderful food. However the service was a little slow, even though the place did not appear busy. I had the vegetarian cubano and it was a great take on Cuban food. Great atmosphere, price was ok for quality.
I've heard great things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint! We started with the empanadas with beef. They were delicious, the pastry was flaky and it was served with this sour cream sauce which was awesome. For dinner I had the Cubano sandwich and it was incredible. The sauce that came with that was so good, kind of a smoky flavor that added a serious kick to the sandwich. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate macaroon cake. It was phenomenal! Great feel of the restaurant and wonderful food, I can't wait to go back!!
Every time I go here the food is delicious and the service is fantastic! From traditional pork to your basic chicken, their is something for even the pickiest of eaters!
Right now, I want to highlight a restaurant that we’ve visited on more than one occasion: Havana Rumba! This place is delicious, of course, and it’s Cuban! I have yet to find a Cuban place in Cincinnati! The food here is incredibly flavorful, authentic, and made from scratch.
Excellent food, friendly atmosphere. Enjoyable birthday celebration with in House drummer. Excellent sangria margarita discounted on Wednesdays.
The food was great! I had the lechon and it was amazing. I asked for tostones instead of yucca and they were huge, and perfectly fried - crispy outside and soft and delicious inside. Others in the group had the garlic shrimp, empanadas, and the app sampler with a tamal. All of it was really good - even for folks who were not familiar with Cuban food. And there was live music! Great experience - thank you!
Always a great experience at the Havana Rumba. I love the food, service and live band. I don't know how they do it but the black beans are amazing. Also is you stack the flan dessert on top of the Tres Letches cake it makes an awesome combo, highly recommend you try it after you take your cholesterol medication.

So. There is a reason this place has such a high rating at almost 3K reviews. That said, either get there before they open, or wait until after the dinner rush. Mom and I got there before they opened so we got a table as soon as they were ready at 5. By 5:15 the place was packed. Do not go during the dinner rush unless you are expecting a wait. Probably a very long one. The food was incredible, and I strongly suggest Amanda for your server. She was super sweet, personable, and very efficient- especially given the number of tables she had (they were short staffed). Yes, we had to wait a bit sometimes, but given how busy she was I would have expected to have much longer waits than we did. I was thoroughly impressed by her.
Mom got one of their pork dishes, and I got the Pollo a Mojo. Mom plowed through her meal, and was even kind enough to let me taste it. Very flavorful, especially after she squeezed the lime and lemon juice onto it. My chicken was perfection. A bit citrusy, perfectly marinated, and just all around wonderful. I also really loved the congri rice. The cumin flavor was really strong, though. I love cumin so I was happy, but I know some people may not. My chocolate cake was very good, and worth the 8 bucks, but did not hold a candle to Mom's banana dessert. The Havana Bananas are really something special. Not too sweet, and a good size to share if you don't want a lot of sugar, or perfect to keep all to yourself if you save enough room.
Highly recommend, just remember they get busy fast. Definitely stopping in the next time I'm driving through Kentucky.
The food is really good, and the service was good. But it was so loud. Like we struggled to hold conversations with each other over the table.. I mean so extremely loud. So if you have sensory issues you may want to avoid it though the food is really good. Fair warning occasionally and randomly they will abruptly start drumming. Be ready for that. May not be the best place for someone that has sensory issues.

This is my husbands favorite place to eat! We tried Cuban food for the first time in Miami years ago and now every time we are in Louisville this is our go to restaurant. I have not had anything that wasn't amazing. The staff is always so friendly and I love going on Saturday nights when they have live music!
First time eating Cuban food. It was very good. The service was great. Nice and clean.
We love this restaurant. The food is stop-you-in-your-tracks delectable and the servers are friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is truly wonderful and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the volume and presentation of the music.
The performer is always quite good, but it's often so loud that conversation is difficult. Also I'd much rather see a musical group than one guy singing to backing tracks. It's kind of like karaoke but there's only one person.
Regardless, it's still an amazing experience.
I could not believe how good the food was!! I'm from Mexico, so I know good food ! This was amazing!! Not to mention the atmosphere!! I'm definitely a fan now!! Viva Mexico y Havana!! 🇲🇽 🇨🇺
Oh my, delicious as usual. We have never had a bad meal here. We have enjoyed numerous menu items and it is always delicious. Margaritas, the ultimate, are the best. Our service tonight was fantastic. It's one of our favorite places in Louisville.
