This place may just be one of the great date places in a neighborhood built to have great date places. The space is small and intimate, some place you can come in, just relax, have a bite, have a conversation…with the guys, with your date, hell, with the Bartender. It’s got a ratio I like to see in my restaurants and hangouts. The comfort level is high, the attitude level is low. As in zero. Nada. Doesn’t have it.

Dark and delish. Loved the dark and cozy atmosphere of this neighborhood bar, and the bartenders were each exceptional and helpful in beer and wine suggestions. their beers on tap are of a wide variety and ever changing, and their wine menu and knowledge are spot on as well. we dined on the mac & cheese and a cheese plate, and both were excellent in flavor. the mac & cheese had a little kick to it that i loved, and the cheeses they selected for us were deliciously divine. a great, fairly new place so go support your neighborhood bar, los feliz folks!

You can expect some personalized attention in selecting the right glass for you at Covell, which might just end up being Kaner's own AM/FM Syrah.
