Great 50's style American Diner! Tons of Coca-cola memorabilia decorate the place. Extremely clean! Even though it's been an LA landmark since the 60's, everything looks brand new.
Burger: patties are a chuck steak blend, which give it an excellent classic flavor. Bun was perfectly toasted to a crisp outside with a soft inside.
Fries could not be better! Thick-cut, and a good salt ratio. Just the right amount of crisp. The ranch tastes like half buttermilk dipping ranch, and half ranch dressing (if you like ranch you know what I'm talking about).
My pickle was floppy and sour. Not sure if they make them in house or buy in a jar, but considering how popular this spot is, I don't think it's always like that.
let me say it short and sweet: GREAT hamburger place!! loved the burgers, best fries around, BUT what goes over the top is their service!! (since there's no "table service", I'm talking about the guys at the counter and the total attention to details in each individual order). Recommended 100% if you're in the area! will visit the place again whenever I'm back in the area.
They can make Any burger or sandwich that you desire, just the way you'd like it. Soups and shakes, Patty melt is done right. Chili Fries !!
THIS is the place to get your burgers.
A nice family-owned business where the owner is present and the young ones are learning to work hard, and do a good job too!
Indoor dining is permitted as of July 2021.
The menu was a little confusing because they don't have meal deals from what I can tell. Your burger + fries + drink all cost different and add up but hey isn't that what a meal is anyways? 🤣
They toast the buns just perfectly and their fries and the best fries I've ever tried (if you're a fan of the initial crisp bite of a fry-at-first-bite, search no more).
They were checking to make sure we were enjoying our time and even refilled our drinks when they ran out. They were nice and weren't overbearing in anyway, allowing us our time to eat undisturbed.
I would definitely make a habit of visiting this hamburger joint if I were you.
Oh yeah, also forgot to add they have the nice pebble ice. And the decor is immaculate.
This restaurant sounds like the habit burger restaurant, but it is a completely different place, not related to the chain.
I ordered burgers and hot dogs a few times here. The burgers and fries are big and good enough. But I didn't like their hot dogs, too unusual dressings for me.
The burgers aren't expensive and the restaurant has an old school look with various posters and historical coca-cola signs.
The ambiance of this place is the real attraction. Really classic authentic vintage feel. Great staff, friendly. The only thing is the meat patty is really thin, its more of a toppings sandwich than a burger, the bun is sizeably larger than the patty.
Grew up eating this spot. Great burgers, the Sassy Cheese and The Works are great. Great patty melt. Great fries and chili. Thick shakes. It's got a 50s burger joint feel. Do your mouth and belly a favor an go there.
