Great food, prices are reasonable and staff is excellent. I would definitely recommend people to try it.
The best hardshell tacos this side of the Mississippi .👍🏼🌮
My wife and I happened upon Ricks in Los Angeles.
One of my favorite burgers of all time is a Pastrami burger. Now I know there are served all over but I assure you that not everyone know how to make a pastrami burger, there is an art to it.
I know that is a long build up just to say that This pastrami burger was one of the best I have had. I know you might look at the picture and say it wasn’t picture perfect but if that is your main concern then that is your loss. This was a masterpiece of epic meat proportions. My wife went with the bacon burger with the addition of avocado. The fries enveloped by loads of chili and cheese where mine! I am allowed one cheat meal every week or other week depending on my mood. I have to say that this was well worth it and I would do it again, thanks Ricks.
Attention soda brand elitists: Pay no attention to photos of their vintage indoor menu that shows Pepsi drink products. This Rick’s serves Coca-Cola. I avoided this place a several times simply because a quick look at the Google review photos made me think they only served that “other” cola. I guess for nostalgia reasons they haven’t updated the menu. I get it but wish hey had a “No Pepsi” disclaimer prominently posted somewhere 😝
Great burger place by the way! Breakfast is right up there too 👍
Easy to order but lacks a friendly atmosphere. Food is good. Parking is ok since still Covid. No dine in yet. Very clean and looks like nice place to hangout
Pretty solid burger. I had this spot bookmarked for sometime now so was glad I had a chance to check it out during Jazz Fest. We dropped in for a late lunch at around 3pm and luckily it wasn't too crowded at that time... it was very crowded right about the time we were finished eating. My beef French & Fries burger cooked medium with truffle Parmesan fries, gruyere, avocado, & caramelized onions was delicious! I'd be curious to try their bison burger which seems to be very popular. Their milkshakes looked good as well so there will definitely be a next time.
We used to come here over 5 years ago and we loved it . Things are different now. I was disappointed that none of the front staff were wearing gloves. They were touching food items and money at the same time. It also took a long time to get our order. I hope it is better next time.
I've been eating at Ricks since they opened in the early 1980's when I was going to Marshall High school. The food has and is always great. Great All American Burgers and fries. 😋
