Good food at a very low price. Plates are all generous portions ranging in price from $5.69 to $8.99. Seats about 30 people. Always clean. A very casual setting and decor. Has mostly surfing, ocean, and posters of Hawaii and surfing paraphernalia as the decorating theme of the restaurant. You order at the cash register and they bring your order to your table. Serve specialty teas, beers, or soda.
This is one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. The food is great. Their menu is filled with creative fusion food and they execute it very well. My favorite is the California Burrito. The restaurant has the soul of a badass food truck. I hope they keep crushing it.
Really LOVE Wahoo's!!! Here and there the reviews and references have been around and haven't taken notice. Just recently there was a physical search for decent food and realized Wahoo's was right there. Everything ordered was very delicious and made to order. Very, very pleased with everything!!! Food, ambience, prices, and very helpful staff. For a first-time visitor, it was one of the best experiences for a restaurant that had been previously ignored. Anyone who's never been...GO!!! Wa hoo!!!!😉😃 ☺
Great place with nice seating and food
WOW! Bf and I were craving tacos with shrimp and fish. Wahoo offers plenty types of protein. Chicken, steak, fish, shrimp, & pork. We ordered shrimp tacos and crispy fried fish tacos and OMG were they delish!! So much flavor, cooked just right AND they sell liquor!! Tacos and beer are a must in my world. We also ordered a pineapple margarita and it was smooth. We both really enjoyed everything. The setup is pretty cool and upbeat! Staff ladies were super friendly and helpful and had a big smile on their face the whole time! I will DEFINITELY be returning when visiting California again!
