Beautifully adorned interior without so much as a hint of pretentiousness. It seemed as though I had been contacted by each working employee in one way or another as they all took the customer experience very seriously. My server, Nicole, helped me navigate the lunch menu with a few suggestions. I took her suggestion of the burger and am glad I did. The presentation was well above average for lunch time choices, taking a backseat only to the quality of the food. Picking up the burger at first revealed a small puddle of flavorful juices running out the sides. While this might normally make for a less enjoyable eating experience, here it served to enhance and subtly point out details as it brought attention to the well crafted bun which stood up to the juices from beginning to end. Never once did I become concerned that it would fall apart after realizing how sturdy and toothsome the bun is. Regarding burgers within walking distance of Eve, there is no competition. I'll spend some time this evening remembering some of the greats from my past, but I would be surprised if this burger doesn't land -- and solidify it's place -- in my all time top 5 (realistically, 3).

Wow! Amazing decor & design! Worth a visit and a great place to meet! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Fast service and amazing food! Lunch We had the prime rib sandwich and fish n’ chips. The Blue Dahlia was very tasty too. Dessert was red velvet churros with chocolate dip. Full bar in the lobby and another in the restaurant. (*) I am definitely returning (Sunday Brunch!!!)

My first experience here was during Dine LA. I enjoyed the food and great, atmosphere; located inside the swanky Mayflower hotel. I had the deviled eggs and scallops and they were GREAT (as well as the bread tbh lol)! I liked the mac and cheese also, but it could have done without the bread crumbs on top. I did not enjoy the desert though. It obviously was frozen, but not properly thawed before reaching my table- yea, that was definitely a let down. All in all, this is a nice restaurant to enjoy a dinner date or even just drinks.

Very cool downtown LA/Financial District spot. Had the chicken sandwich (Katsu Sando) which was delicious. The presentation of the food, on little elevated trays was, a nice touch. Service was excellent and efficient, as the lunch crowd was just beginning to come in when we were there. Check it out!

I've been staying at The Mayfair for 10 nights and went to this restaurant twice. I ordered Steak and Egg, Tonkatsu Salad when I visited first, and Oxtale tostada, Falafel, and Tonkatsu Salad for the second visit. I highly recommend Tonkatsu Salad here, as it comes with interesting textures. Ingredients were super fresh, crunchy, and zesty. other dishes I had were also really agreeable. I would avoid saying this restaurant is moderately priced, but for what I had, the price was well justied. I wish I took some photos. but I was doing some work with my laptop on while I was waiting. In short, worth a visit.

Wonderful dinner at the Eve Bistro. We had an oscar themed fixed dinner that was fabulous. Each course was well plated and delicious. Super service. I went to college here in the 70s and this part of town was off limits and dangerous . So wonderful to see the beautiful and historic Mayfair hotel decorated to the nines and in all its glory!
