I was sceptical at first. Sushi at a burger joint?. But I was plasantly surprised. The sushi is high quality the best Ive had in the valley since I've moved here. No joke! My husband and sun had the Kings burger special pastrami and cheese with chili fries while my daughter and I had fresh water eel , shrimp tempura roll with real blue crab not imitation! And the mixed sushi plate. All excellent. Everyone got what they wanted and best of all the food was excellent will definitely be coming back
OMG, I have been going to Kings for years and just enjoyed their delicious burgers, when my friend said then now serve sushi I laughed at her. OMG was I wrong and the joke was on me, a burger joint serving Sushi, what a great concept. I'm in!!!!!!!

This place is one of the best kept secret sushi places in the San Fernando Valley. They have the plaques and the news articles of the awards they have won placed all over their back walls but you wouldn't be able to tell that its an amazing sushi joint by the look of the place. For what I can tell the owners originally opened up a burger joint right there next to CSUN and were pretty successful. Their son or someone ended up leaving and going to Culinary school and came back as a sushi chef and started making sushi in this place. That's why the decor doesn't match and they still sell burger and fast food. I recommend any of their sushi rolls but I should warn you, they take their time to make them so you might want to order an appetizer first if you are starving. I love coming here to order a quick tuna bowl or one of their fusion dishes to go. The other great thing about this sushi / burger spot is that its relatively cheap since it was originally catered to the college student.

The spicey tuna wrapped around avocado on top of yummy baby greens, is mouth watering, and so healthy.for you! I order it every time!!!!
Outstanding and creative sushi!. Now this came as a total surprise. While they serve (good) burgers and mexican fare (you order over the counter), they also have a tiny sushi bar which can only be described by one word - exquisite! The sushi chef is a true artist. If you want, he'll serve you some highly creative dishes - in part with varieties of fish flown in directly form Japan. It's some of the most creative and most excellent sushi dishes that I have ever had. He can compete with some of the most exclusive sushi places in town. A true find! (If you don't mind the decor).
Sushi!. Surprisingly awesome sushi! The chef knows his stuff! And the pastrami sandwich at the main counter is awesome.
It lives up to the "Worth It" hype! My partner and I went and got both sushi and burgers + fries. All of it was so good, neither one outdid the other in terms of quality, freshness, taste, and bang for your buck. The truffle parmesan fries were a real standout. We will definitely be back.
The price is right and the food is good, but I thought there's kimchi on the meal that I ordered. So far we're still happy to eat in this place.

Incredible fresh fish that was absolutely delicious!! The burger was also very tasty!! We were so full, but wanted to try it!! We asked to have it cut in fourths. The server was happy to help us. Speaking of service, they were great!!
Came for the amusing burger and sushi combo and was not disappointed. We ordered the kanpachi three way, jr burger, and king’s special burger. We also got some small fries and fried zucchini both of which while good was a bit overpriced.
My friends and I stopped by Kings Burger today and we had a great experience. It looks like the upgraded the inside because the booths are gone and they also have outside seating now. The last time I got food from here during the covid lockdown, I didn't have a good experience since they forgot something on my food. But now it looks like they changed a lot. The service was great and the food was amazing. I got the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and it was just like I remembered it. They weren't busy when I got there but within 30 minutes, they started to get pack. They don't check covid vaccination status here anymore but wearing mask is highly encouraged.
