Best pizza in la and the employees are very nice.
Best pizza I've had in LA. As good as any in NY. The Syracuse is a great twist but even just plain old cheese is a star
Tomato Pie Wonderful!!!. We had been looking for more choices of restaurants in our area. (We had a very bad experience with another Italian restaurant the night before. Spaghetti and Meat Balls was the order. What we got from the other restaurant was the spaghetti and meat balls in a very hot meat sauce, which was uneatable.) There was a Tomato Pie promotional menu at our door. Prices were even better! We ordered the Meat Lasagna. OMG! It was wonderful! We found our new Italian Restaurant! Can't wait to try other items there!
Very good. My daughter and I really liked this pizza. No, we actually loved it:) Authentic NY style and friendly staff, very casual place. Prices are decent too, so if you want a very, very good Pizza in LA, and are around Melrose, you've got to check this place:)
It's comforting to know that all the way on the other side of this huge country I can still grab a hot slice from the northeast. It's a weird shift that 'East Coast Flavors' are suddenly the exotic when they're all I've known...
I was craving some pizza and this place caught my eye. I love the colors and design elements of the store. I was very happy to see a lot of specialty slices available. They could have just stuck with pepperoni or cheese but they had about a dozen different slices available. The dough was great. The sauce was tangy and tasty. Overall, quite happy with this spot.
This was some damn good pizza. I tried the Marg Pizza and the Phoenix.
Marg Review:
The thinness of the crust gave it a satisfying crunchy but the end was still doughy and dusted with parmesan cheese. The sauce was some of the freshest I’ve had in a pizza, it tasted like a simple well-made tomato sauce. I feel like some more herbs and spices could’ve amplified the flavour even more! The mozzarella was so warm when it came out that I had a couple good cheese pulls.
Phoenix Review:
This slice has the same crunchy crust that I loved but I preferred the simpler flavours of the other pizza. Having the buffalo sauce as the base made it lack sauce which is probably my favourite part of a pizza. The toppings were good and I enjoyed the flavour of it overall, I just would’ve made it spicier and saucier.
Overall, this is a great pizza place, which walk in slices range from $3-5.50. It’s affordable and delicious!
One of the Best Pizza Joints in LA. Have been waiting for their reopening. I was definitely not disappointed. All you Pizza Lovers need to try this place out.
This pizza was insanely good. Coming from New York, I have to say this is the best pizza in la. We couldn’t decide what flavor so we tried 4 and each one was soooo good. Also the cool sodas on tap were amazing. I’m coming back ASAP.
We always see a line here so decided to order. Our first and second order consisted of the meat pizza, wings, breadsticks, and pickles. Such a great spot! We both really enjoyed. For sure recommend ordering from here!
Amazing pizza and wings( with the Buffalo ranch and sweet chili sauce...mmm)! Originally from NYC and finally found a NY style pizza place that tastes like Home after so much searching! Service was great and the presentation from the window front to the box packaging was perfect! Would most def go back!
The best pizza! The crust, sauces, and methods of cooking were quite impressive and satisfying. Besides, I had a great day when I came to visit this restaurant for the first time. All in all, their pizzas were delicious and worth it at a reasonable price. Also, the ambiance was clean and smell great. As a satisfied customer, rating you a 5-stars was the best thing to do. Others must come! You won't be disappointed!
