Definitely has a higher end vibe, but still very cool! Been there a few times and the food is always great. The service is spot on and everyone is friendly. If you are in the area looking for a great brunch spot, definitely give it a try! Especially if you want a great cup of coffee, they serve Intelligentsia which is DELICIOUS, albeit very strong.
The only reason it gets 4 stars, and really I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, is that the food is just a little bit...uninspired, as in I wasn't surprised by any of it. Everything tasted great and of high quality, but lacked that special touch some places seem to put into the food.
With that said, I haven't tried everything and will be definitely going back for more brunch!
The Pastrami and Egg burger (see picture) was delicious and highly recommended. The pastrami just fell apart perfectly!
What a fun place! This is an updated diner with plenty of good food. They make their roasts, root beer 🍻 in house. Everything was so so good. Our server Lynn was super friendly and even though they seem a bit short staffed she was attentive and always had a big smile when she served us.
Eleven is the perfect addition to Mid-City with its old school charm with new school flare. The menu reads like your usual classic deli menu covering all the staples: corned beef, pastrami, cold cuts, matzo ball soup, real root beer, classic cakes and ice cream, all topped with an in-house candy bar and deli counter.
The staff is still in training but everyone is really nice and excited to be there. We did have wait a while for a table for 2, at 7pm, on a Wednesday because they had to find more menus, but still the staff is great.
I had the half sandwich and soup (matzo ball and pastrami) for $17. The soup alone was enough to fill me up but I obviously had to try the coleslaw and pastrami. The matzo ball soup was really simple, one giant matzo ball and broth - light flavor but hit the spot. The coleslaw was a little soupy for my taste but the pastrami was fine. Nothing mind blowing but a solid sandwich and soup.
I will definitely be back to try their breakfast (which is all day) and their bloody mary which I've heard is delicious - we shall see.
Go after 7pm during the week and you can usually find street parking. If not you can park in the back for $7. On the weekends they apparently have valet.
Had my first French toast here and it was delicious! Location is new from what I heard. The prices are friendly to tourists in my opinion, considering how expensive the city seems to be. Wide range of food as well and really pretty establishment.

The prices aren’t cheap but what you may not realize is that you’re getting at least two meals maybe even three worth of food. And the quality of the food is quite delicious. My wife and I shared a Cobb salad and Reuben sandwich and it literally was 2 and a half meals for us.
And they have a lot of nice touches and little details which you just don’t see anymore. Like the old fashion counter that sells candy, the nice take out deli and the excellent service. I would definitely recommend this place.
Place is mad lit! 🔥 🔥🔥the Cajun Chicken sandwich 🥪 is off the chain!!! Def coming back to try the beef brisket (only served after 4pm). the vibe and deco is dope too! They got candy y’all!!!
Matzoh ball soup, corned beef, pastrami, brisket... you name it, they have it and it is delicious! Super charming diner, cool atmosphere, amazing Bloody Marys and great service. Great addition to LA; can’t wait to go back.
Had dinner at this delightful Delicatessen and restuarant located on the corner of Wilshire and Cloverdale The menu is HUGE, offering a wide variety of food, including Breakfast all day, and a lot of dessert options. The staff were quite friendly, but service was a little slow. The food was good, but a little pricey. The ambience is wonderful, with Jazz music playing. There are Happy Hour food choices available, but only until 6pm. There are large windows that allow a lot of natural light in.
Fantastic and Flavorful food with a pleasant throwback vibe. Even during a busy lunch crowd the service was stellar! The pastrami rivals all others in the city. Top two for sure! Highly recommend!
Had the tuna melt. Pretty good. Grilled veggies option as a side were delicious. Food was good. Service was good. Went on first day it opened. Busy but not crazy at lunch. Went back with a friend about 20 min before closing and they were already CLOSED. The guy at the door just said “it’s our first day and we are closed.” Maybe they ran out of food or were tired. Or both.
