So happy this location is here!!! I used to drive all the way to Santa Monica to get my Philz fix. My drink is a Jacob's Wonder Bar (Philz way) or an Iced Mint Mojito (house way).
Great iced coffee with mint but not in mugs so it’s not the cafe experience I like but more a place to go study or work but not to relax. No couches or confortable cozy places to sit.
Randomly stopped by during a tour and boy what a gem! Delicious flavorful coffee with even better service!! Remade my drink a few times each time with a little different twist until is was perfect!! AMAZING!!
A nice coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating at the base of the CNN building. The iced mint mojito coffee is one of their specialties. It's worth trying, especially if you like mint as they add several fresh leaves to the coffee and it's not just some artificial extract. Also the staff was really friendly and the service was quick.
Obsessed with Philz Coffee!! Second review for a different location. My dad described their dark roast as 'the father of all dark roasts'. Their iced coffee mojito is sooooo delicious!!!! Their ice coffee rose is also delicious. Bagels and soft and nice and flaky on the outside. Their croissants are buttery and yummy when warmed up. Indoor and outdoor seating is available staff is friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms are fairly clean and you need a code to get in.
We came from Toronto and Hands down one of the best coffee places we have had. Philz is worth a trip to California!!!

A similar format to Starbucks but without the hustle and bustle. A very relaxed atmosphere with cheerful and helpful staff . I noticed people drinking their beverages whilst working on their laptops. Philz' atmosphere is such that you feel you can just chill out there for as long as you wish. There are also tables outside in an enclosed "garden type" area. They close late afternoon at 5:00, though.
This place is amazing! The drinks are so tasty and the service is great. I highly recommend the Iced Gingersnap!!! The lady who made my drink let us know that she can change the drink to however we like it.😊The design and ambiance of this place is impeccable!!! I highly recommend!
None of my Philz reviews are objective. As a longtime San Franciscan, I have been going to Philz since before it took over the world :-) I am in SoCal for a short-term gig, so I have been visiting the Philz stores in the area.
While many of the newer locations may be fancier than the original, the coffee and staff never disappoint.
Over the years, depending on where I have lived, I have made it a point to get to know the baristas as they are always interested and lovely humans. If you have ever watched a training, they are wicked smart and always send a positive vibe out into the world. Kudos to the staff at all the Philz!
The Hollywood store does not disappoint; excellent staff interaction, an inviting store vibe, and consistent drink prep (Hack: "cinnamon in the Philter").
While this store is not super-close to where I am staying, I'll prob be back whenever I'm in the area.

This coffee shop is my new favorite spot. The coffee is always delicious, and the service is top-notch. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they always take the time to get my order right. I also appreciate that they're always willing to make recommendations if I'm not sure what to get.
