this is truly a neighborhood gem! the perfect blending of a french cafe, local gourmet coffee shop, and unique gift boutique. now that charles has added a breakfast & lunch menu -- and every item is masterfully prepared & presented -- this is THE go-to place in valley village. the staff is terrific, the mix of regulars & visitors always interesting, and it seems to have just the right ambiance for everyone.
Such a lovely cafe. The staff is warm and soft-spoken. I had a delicious quiche and chai latte with coconut milk. Their case of gelato and gourmet desserts will have to be sampled next time. Worth the bike ride there.
The food was good and tasty.
The coffee was good.
The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Outdoor seating was full at the time of my visit.
The furnishings for the inside dining were old, not vintage, garage sale like and not attractive.
The shop felt under-staffed.
Yes, I would eat here again, though.
Food was good! Got the fish tacos! Atmosphere was not great to me. I didn't realize I'd be sitting amongst things that are for sale. It's the vibe of the place. Not a bad thing but not for me.
I've driven by this place a bunch and it took me a few times to realize what it was. When my parents were coming over for brunch to see our 2 month old we told them to meet us here. We were able to order breakfast or lunch items at 11am and the service was rather quick. There was a fold down changing table in the bathroom which was a life saver. The woman who was working the shop asked us if we wanted her to grab our food so we could keep an eye on the baby which was nice. The food was good, not mind blowing, but the place is great for hanging out and enjoying your conversations and the food and drinks. Next time I go I'll have to order coffee, and a pastry from the glass case because they looked delicious.
The selection in the refrigerator was quite impressive with the various sodas, juices, carbonated and still waters.
I do recommend you check it out. It's off the beaten path enough where it won't get the typical brunch rush you'd see at a brunch location on a main street.
Parking could be better but it's Southern California, I don't mind a little walk.
I recently dropped back in here years after moving out of the neighborhood when I used to hang here constantly and was very pleased to see it is alive and as well as it always used to be. If you're looking for a place to grab lunch on your way through the valley (no ho/studio City) give it a try. It has a lovely outdoor space. The food is really good and the service is always great. There's also a gift / furniture / art store connected you can peruse and grab a gift for your friends, family or yourself. Even your agent if they still have a physical office! 😁
This is my favorite restaurant it is very pretty inside and outside and the food is delicious and they are dog friendly so I took my dog with me they are also very affordable and I love how it is French bc I’m French and it reminds me of Paris I recommend this restaurant a lot ✨
Good coffee? Check. Good pastries? Check. An attached gift shop with a random assortment of house literature and tchotchkes that seem like they were hand-crafted by a Prozac-fueled suburban mom on a shopping spree at TJ Maxx? Double-check. Loves it. This Fashionista will be back again soon.

Everything is really good here. And it's a really nice gift shop in furniture shop with really unique things!
This neighborhood cafe always serves up the best breakfast. Their Eggs Benedict is absolutely a must try and the coffee is superb.
This is my new favorite chill place, great atmosphere and bistro style seating. I love the outdoor patio, food and drinks are amaizing. Highly suggest!
My new favorite brunch place. It’s self service here so you go to the counter to pay and pickup your food. It reminds me of a French cafe with the food and atmosphere.
