This place is excellent! Ordered a dozen doughnuts to go and had a chicken, egg and bacon sandwich to eat in. The chicken was super juicy and delicious. The service was top notch. The staff helped us pull together a table for our group of 6 and refilled coffee as we waited. The chicken is made to order, so there is a bit of a wait, but totally worth it.
Chicken was average, but the donuts were excellent! Being in downtown though means it does come with downtown prices AKA overpriced. But it still remains that the donuts are super good. Even the donut used for the fried chicken sandwich was probably the better part of that sandwich. All in all, a very solid donut spot, average fried chicken spot.
Chicken is hot, fresh, crispy and juicy on the inside. Sodas are craft and delicious. And the key lime doughnut makes my mouth water thinking about it. Awesome flavor and great light cream filled goodness.
Great place for breakfast. The sandwich called The Works is amazing! Service is friendly and fast, plus the place was very clean. The place was staffed well enough that they could easily run the register, prepare the food, plus keep the trash picked up and supplies filled. Great place!
Never been there ran into this place by work . I was out of town best dounghts!!! I had the vanilla one and cream burlee Also order egg and bacon sandwich was great !!
Got all yeast raised donuts, no made to order cake donuts.
Got a Creme Brûlée, PBnJ, Maple and Bacon, and a lemon. They were all tasty overall. Liked the Creme Brûlée and PBnJ the best. Parking sucks but it's DTLA so you can't deduct points for that IMO.
I think it was $16.50 for the donuts, so I probably wouldn't go back bc the donuts were good but not worth that price for me. I liked the Creme Brûlée and PBnJ the best.
I absolutely love this place. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and the "works" sandwich.
The spicy chicken had an amazing taste and juicy chicken. The spicy part didn't come through enough for me. The works sandwich had biscuit bun, bacon, cheese, scrambled eggs and fried chicken. So delicious.
I also got the cherry blossom the creme brulee doughnuts. Both were outstanding and with the price.
A really cool friendly place to enjoy some seriously good fried chicken.
These donuts are such indulgence. I also had the fried chicken which I devoured before I could take a picture. They are definitely a show stopper in the office.
Good spot for a sweet snack or a savory chicken sandwich, or just some fried chicken. Their doughnuts are also very good with a good variety of choices.
Always on the lookout for donut shops and their takes on this simple fried dough deliciousness. The cherry pie doughnut -- a seasonal flavor along with blueberry thyme, and birthday cake -- is a beautifully prepared menu item with its pink sugar and crumb topping; I only would have wished that the fruit filling inside was more substantial.
