So worth it! We usually drive all the way to Glendale for Din Thai Fung. This place isn't as good, but super close and very tasty. Great service even though there is a slight language barrier. We love it. Will definitely be back!
The fam wanted dim sum and we searched for a nearby establishment, and that is what brought us to The Palace. We have had plenty of dim sum from east to west coast - this was the best we've had! Clean restaurant, with great service (all food came out very quickly), and terrific food. The juicy buns are a must have!
Great New Westside Chinese. We had a great meal here tonight. The service was impeccable, and the host/ owner extremely accommodating and helpful. We were very impressed with the food -- found it superior to VIP Harbor Seafood, which we also liked. We're eager to go back to try the Dim Sum.
Unlike Hop Li, where we also go on occasion, every dish we ordered was spot on (seems with Hop Li there's some inconsistency).
Bravo, Palace!
Just had New Years Dim Sun and it was great Better than VIP ever was
Sunday morning at 1030am was super quiet
Food is authentic usual fare and comforting; service was good. It’s small-ish and not too crazy, which is all nice
Overall a reliable casual spot
This has to be the best dim sum place on the west side. The sticky rice balls, and the pork and shrimp Shumai are delicious. If you feel like having something spicy and I mean spicy, try one of my favorite dishes here, Szechuan chicken. It’s hot, not for beginners.
Delicious dim sum. Wonderful, friendly service. Easy valet parking.
Service attentive, food served hot🔥🔥! Good selection for dim sum, no carts anymore, but great picture menu
I'll be honest ~ this is not a restaurant I would've thought would be a good choice for vegetarian me. But we were celebrating a birthday so to The Palace I went. I'll be honest again ~ I LOVE this place! Dim Sum was something I felt would be over my head, ordering-wise, so imagine my happiness when I discovered the joy of true family style dining. Everyone orders what they want, usually several dishes, take a portion and then off it goes on the huge lazy susan that takes up the center of the table for anyone else to share in. The feeling is so communal, the giving and sharing of food is so joyous. The Palace has delicious food (I loved my veggie dumplings and bean curd roll, especially). While not particularly elegant, the restaurant was spotless and the waitstaff excellent. I'm coming back and bringing a crowd!
The place is nice and big. Great dim sum, fast service, lots of great food to pick.
The prices are great, it is usually really busy.
Staff is wonderful, fast, helpful.
A must try, bring friends, family Co workers ECT. THEY WILL LIVE IT......
Very decent dim sum place at west LA. The curry shrimp balls were extremely good, highly recommended, though Xiaolong Bao (小笼包) was very bad. It's kinda pricey to be honest. Still pretty good though.
I always go there when I want to eat dim sum.
Prices are nice, and we can just pick whatever we want. Servers walk around customers with food, so it keeps food warm.
Best dim sum for me!!!
Great service and most of the food is good. Some of Dim sum is not as good as it used to be and they don't bring carts around anymore.
Honesty I wasn't sure since they only have 3 stars but the food was excellent. Service was good but the place is another dated Chinese restaurant.
I do recommend it for the food
