A French bistro -- all too rare these days in LA with the kitchen overseen by Executive Chef Sasca Lyon. The menu lists origins of many of the fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared food is extraordinary. Straightforward and just unusual enough to make you want to order every item on the menu. The mean would earn high marks in any Paris establishment. Happy hour is currently from 3-6 that shows just how welcome and valuable guests are here.
Delicious! Awesome staff and the openness of the dining area feels refreshing. Very flavorful. Ordered pasta verde and dry aged burger with dessert, very delicious! Portions were enough.
Location is great, interior was good, menu was good but adventurous!! This place is more for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!!

We had a fantastic meal, all the dishes were solid. Showstopper was the chorizo and shrimp burger. A lot of the reviews I had read recommended the "Call Me, Maybe", but it was a little sweet for my taste. We had a great bottle of red that carried the rest of the meal nicely. We're spoiled in LA with a lot of restaurants at this caliber, so I'll have to hold back 5 stars for only the most remarkable dining experiences.
Great food, great service with a laid back atmosphere.
We ordered fries to share and each got the spaghetti. For the price, the portions are great and really fill you up. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I'd definitely be back to try more of their menu.
One big plus free parking behind. The restaurant is open, casual, seating inside, at the spacious bar and outside. Our waiter; Alvin, was attentive and friendly. Our drink; a negroni and a Manhattan were very good. Our dinner was great but a slight mistake had the owner(?) Manager quickly insisting to remove from our bill. All in all we highly recommend. The surrounding area seems very lively as well-do check it out!

The service was great and the food was too! I got their truffle fries and a loaded baked potato. Be warned, their loaded baked potato is HUGE!!! The baked potato had a lot of flavor and every bite was different, until you got past the top where all the good stuff was, but not bad; especially for the price. The truffle fries were amazing! The restaurant was very clean and the hosts and servers were dressed nice and were very polite. It is a very calm nice place to go out on a date or to just catch up with an old friend!
I had the shrimp and chorizo burger which was the most unique combination on the menu. It was perfect. The other meals ordered and desserts were great (our family shares) and the service was wonderful. Our server, Lucian provided great service and selection advice.
A friend of mine introduced me to this newly opened restaurant. I took some of my family members there for dinner. The place is great - simple decor but classy. The food was excellent. We ordered quite a bit of food to try out the variety. We all enjoyed the food and some of them are originally created by the chef and quite unique. The dessert was fantastic. The service was excellent and the servers are very attentive. I think this place is a winner. Definitely will go back again.
The food was great with good portions and my server Jay was EXCELLENT! He took incredible care of us and his good manners, upbeat attitude and attention to detail made our family get together one for the books. We all had to stand up and wave goodbye to him from the window at the end of the meal! My husband and I live in the area but we'd never been to the Commerson before. After this terrific first impression, we are looking forward to our next visit!
