Delicious!!!!!! Love a small family owned restaurant! They even have brick toasts for dessert but we’re too full so unfortunately didn’t try!
Found this Ramen bar on google maps driving through Hollywood and don’t regret a thing. I ordered the spicy shoyu with tofu and vegetables and was cooked fresh and to perfection. Some of the best ramen i’ve had in my life.
The restaurant itself is very small and does look & feel a bit shabby but had no bearing on my experience there. Would eat there again and highly recommend. There is a small car park which i think is free for patrons but couldn’t get parked so parked on the metered road outside for only $1/hr which worked out well.
All I have to say is WOWWWWW! Second time trying this place and it’s so delicious. I felt so well nourished and fulfilled. Staff was great and food came so quickly.
Ordered the Premium Spicy Miso ramen with Chashi Pork & an egg on a chilly day in LA and it HIT THE SPOT! The bowl didn't stand a damn chance because it lasted all of 10 minutes. Twas a healthy portion and after I left, I wanted to go back for 2nd's😁. It won't be the last time I go there; if you haven't made it your first, give it a try✌️.
At first glance I didn’t think this was going to be good, the outside area isn’t amazing, but once you come in it’s totally different.
I came in and it was just me eating there, immediately got sat down and ordered my food, I ordered the spicy shoyu ramen and garlic edamame, the edamame was amazing, had a very good taste with a slight hint of spice, and the ramen was amazing too, very umami and nice broth, I got it with pork and pork was cooked well.
Overall a great experience and recommend visiting
This place is awesome. Friendly service, delicious food. This is the best noodle that I have ever had. I will definitely recommend to my all friends.
Delicious ramen shop! I've always gotten the spicy vegan miso and it's always been excellent! Just a warning, if you're going with a group they'll only split onto 2 cards per table so plan ahead.
FOOD: Premium Spicy Miso with Pork and Egg, Spam Musubi (munchies)
Once you get over the delicious aroma and the immaculate presentation, slurp up the goodness of the spicy miso! The Miso is SPICY, which is fantastic if you can handle it. Gosh, that Miso broth is to die for. I felt tempted to take my remaining broth home to pour over my instant noodle packets for the next day. Seriously, that good of Miso! The noodles are just the right size, not too thick or thin and the pork was masterfully seasoned. They add a soft boiled egg, which was not necessary and didn't add much to the already tasty dish. If you've got the munchies, order the Spam Musubi. They are the daintiest version of spam musubi I've tried, looking like a fancy hors d'oeuvre, but yummy nonetheless.
DESSERT: Chibi toast
I had seen the beautiful pictures, but wasn't sure of the actual taste. Literally tastes like deep fried, buttered french toast. The toast comes with an assortment of fresh fruit (mango, strawberries, and kiwi) as well as matcha ice cream and whipped cream. The dessert takes 20 minutes to prepare, so if you're interested, order with your entrees. It is very different and I appreciate a change from creme brûlée or other generic desserts.
DRINKS: Crystal Blue Lemonade and Honeydew Milk Tea
Both drinks are well made and served in cute mason jars. If you're avoiding dairy, try the lemonade which is highly refreshing. For my dairy drinkers, you can choose your milk tea with whole, regular, or silk milk and the honeydew is a nice touch.
ATMOSPHERE: 5 Stars
No sooner than we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted right away and got to choose any table. The restaurant uses its limited space very wisely with a bench seat running against the wall and a long counter. There are several tables in the middle and cute decorations. Korean music videos in the background will keep you entertained while you wait for the food.
Yes, it's true, Hollywood offers a great deal of highly rated restaurants, but this place definitely is a serious contender!
kimchi fried rice is one of my favorite items of the menu. I do recommend that you pay with your credit card because sometime they don’t have change for big bills.
Great local place, the food is always solid. Highly recommend their bowls and curry. Great food, great service ❤️🌈
