This was a great taqueria place that was not fancy. Food was delicious and came out quickly. We had tacos and they were great.
My boyfriend and I spotted Escuela Taqueria from across the street this Sunday afternoon and found the aesthetic inviting. We loved the interior design on the inside, with special attention to the vibrant colors. The staff was really friendly and nice.
You HAVE to try their margarita flight(s)! They are presented in such a fun manner and were all really delicious. The food was also great, along with the guac and salsa. Pork in the green chili nachos was cooked perfectly--soft and flavorful. We also liked how quiet the restaurant was and hence it was great for a relaxing lazy Sunday. Food came out super quickly too. Totally recommend!

My kids and I ended up here and we were pleasantly surprised. The chips, guacamole and lemonade were amazing. Shrimp tacos were delicious too.
There was a strange spice/flavor to the rice and beans so no one ate them but otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves. Music was fun too.
Really good tacos with elevated options in the menu like the wagyu steak tacos or ethical pork. Really good quality, well executed served in mini corn tortillas, very authentic style tacos. The ambiance was modern and cool, nice outdoor area to seat as well. Service was polite and quick.
Impromptu stop for lunch - cute vibe and decent street tacos. Taco fillings were great, but the flour tortillas was mediocre. I probably would have given this place 5 stars if the tortilla was better. My partners horchata was great and my aperol spritz was right on. The chips were just the way I like them - crispy and salty, and the salsa had just enough of a kick. Price per taco was between $7-$10… so reasonable. I’d come back if I was in the area and in need of a taco. Not my first choice though.
Escuela Taqueria is a quaint Mexican restaurant on Beverly Blvd. The block is hot with lots of food options but they reside on a corner that’s very intriguing and colors of Mexico reside here. With the clay interior and old school vibe but still youthful. Mexican food here I believe in my opinion is superior! Staff is always attentive and the food is always so good! I never had a bad drink or food item! Waiters give good advice so take it from them if you don’t know what to order! But honestly I would everything on the menu! And the tequila is a hit might I add!
Another highly recommended spot. Authentic Mexican food on an elevated level. Can’t expect cheap Mexican food here. It’s moderately priced and you get what you pay for. The chips and guacamole are also amazing. The bean and cheese burrito is also phenomenal.
The food and the drinks were very good and the location is pretty - but the most amazing part about this place are the people that work there! It was one of my very first solo-dinners and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable, they went above and beyond. Will 100% be back.
The pork rib tacos are great. Beautiful open air seating with lots of plants. The agua fresca is refreshing. Hostess was slow, and somehow the people who came after us got waters and menus before us. Food service felt bewildering in a way that didn't match the surroundings. The wait staff had rushed vibes.
But overall a pleasant restaurant to spend a leisurely afternoon. Would come again.
Street parking.
I just ate here for the first time. Escuela Taqueria is a wonderful addition to this neighborhood. Without a doubt I will be back in the very near future. Service was on point and the food was perfect.
See you soon!
