VERY GOOD NY Pizza! Sunday is 1/2 price and the pie is cooked perfectly! Come try it! Came on Sunday to learn that the meal would be half what we thought. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was busy but moved along nicely. Took 15 minutes to get our food.
Real NYC thin-crust flavor in Westwood. There are lots of pizza joints in Westwood, since pizza is one of the first elements on the university student's periodic table... I think it comes right after Boron.
Of all the places still around, Lamonica's is definitely my favorite. Thin crust, good ingredients brought in all the way from pizza-heaven (aka "New York City"), made fast, always hot and ready-to-eat. They cook everything in huge ovens right behind the counter, so you can see and smell what's going on and give a shout if there's anything wrong, though I've never had to.
Prices are a little higher than the chain pizza shops. There's also nothing fancy about the indoor dining experience (except a fun NYC subway decor). Still, I've never been able to argue with the food, which I'd say is worth a couple extra bucks.
For me, it doesn't get better than sausage and onions, but when it comes to pizza... I don't think you really need a suggestion, right?
Reliable Slice. This place has been here for years. Every so often I find myself in the neighborhood grabbing a quick slice when I have a craving. The only bummer is the parking.
I had the deep dish, extra cheese, large pizza and it was delicious! I hate a soggy pizza, and this one definitely was well cooked and cheesy. The large was very large and easily fed four hungry adults. It was ready in the 15 minutes that was promised. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that they did not have a public bathroom and you had to walk down to Whole Foods to use the bathroom. The staff was very nice and efficient.
Crispy crust at every bite! Simple and best! Proper New York style pizza! No frills! Would go back! They had 4 vegetarian options!
I am an East Coast, self proclaimed, pizza snob and this is the real deal. So good! Probably the best pizza you can get in LA.

My first trip there. Great pizza, quick, efficient and friendly service, but more importantly the pizza was awesome! I have Sicilian, cheese slice, was very good. Another plus is the had plentiful condiment toppings readily available. Price very reasonable, I would definitely recommend it, and return again in the future.
By far… the best pizza I have ever tasted in town. Thanks for share this masterpiece in the culinary arts, because it’s a well hand made pizza, giving a nice taste of freshness and you will not be disappointed. It is like the in between of thin & crispy, and Pan Pizza. I love it with Garlic granulated, Red Pepper Flakes and Parmesan Cheese, and a Big Cold Coke.
Offers pizza by the slice and more. We had Hawaiian, Meat Lovers, Pepperoni and a Sicilian by the slice. They were all great. Take out or eat in.

Solid, crispy, medium thin pizza available by the slice. They have both standard and Sicilian style pizza as well as Nutella knots (garlic knots minus garlic filled with Nutella). No alcohol served here but great for a quick slice and they’re open until relatively late. Best in Westwood.
Delivery is usually pretty quick too (30-45min) but not cheap. $35 for a large pepperoni (including delivery fees)
Been here twice and I have to say top 2 places to go for pizza. The workers are friendly and service is great! The best part is the pizza. Some of the best pizza I have tried! Definitely recommend if you are nearby! Only downside I see is parking is extremely limited and not much place to sit inside,,especially for a big group.
