The first thing I noticed as I walked into is how clean and sparkling white everything was. Almost blindingly so. The image of opulence and grandeur with high ceilings, white marble floors and even the flush mechanisms
There are a lot of coffee shops in DTLA but Terra Mia is by far, the best, imo. It's small, quaint, personable, and unique. I enjoy coffee shops that have character, creativity, and personality. They have so many variations of coffee flavors from bold, soothing, and earthy.
My personal favorite is the coffee based Horchata Blended Frappe. So good! The Horchata was apparent, cinnamon wasn't overbearing, and wasn't obnoxiously sweet. Best paired with their signature Tres Leches or Cheese Delight Muffins.
The price is reasonable here and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Go and check them out if you are in the neighborhood!

Great coffee- and I’m pretty picky about my double short Americano. The fresh baked goods are also tasty, with a Mexican flair like the guava/cheese danish and the chocolate tres leches muffin. Small place with a few tables. Very friendly service.
Had the pistachio latte with oat milk, very good. Service was nice.
We like to try local businesses. This place did not disappoint. The coffee was great.
Their cafe Cubano is delicious! Nice ambiance and staff. Make a stop at this soon to be landmark of Los Angeles. You will not regret it.
I’ve always heard great things about this coffee shop but never went until now and oh my I wish I would have tried this a long time ago! I got the horchata latte over ice and WOW! It’s one of the creamiest lattes I have tried and I love that it isn’t as sweet as I thought. This place is small but it does have a couple of tables available.
Kind, efficient, awesome coffee. Good prices. Non discriminatory shop, as I strolled in with my backpack asking to charge device and they would've allowed me to but they were closing, so instead of turning away business, I got something simple and easy and quick, thanked them, and told them I will return. ALL OF THE MIA'S have been my favorite. I was shocked to see one here actually. Thank you for honoring those that are still MIA. I'm glad you keep the coffee pots warm for them and doors open until they can return someday.
OMG I absolutely fell in looooove with their horchata frapacinno! AMAZING! And their customer service was just as beautiful as the drink!!2 thumbs up for sure! Definitely 5 stars! Although I wish parking was better but then again what could a lady expect for downtown LA huh!
Unique and wonderful taste of coffee drinks with Latin blended flavors. I ordered their classic coffee (hot horchata latte) as it was my first visit. It's a bit too sweet for me at my first few sips. They kindly added more hot steamed milk for me, it's perfect after the adjustment. Love it! Highly recommend this amazing horchata latte!
Tierra Mia is a great coffee shop. I love their horchata frap. It definitely tastes more like horchata than the Starbucks one. This location is really small though. There's enough room for maybe 12 people to sit down. I would definitely recommend buying and then eating/drinking on the go.
