What a fantastic discovery in the Arts District! Apparently they have been open for 4 months, so they are not very well known yet. Their food is delicious! We ordered sprouts, coliflower, beef cheek and Yellowtale. Superb! Fantastic decoration that combinea organic elements with wood and metals. Such a beautiful place to go on a date / business - creative meeting. A very inspiring place and super nice crew. Not too pricey for what you get. We will be back!
I came for the soft opening and was blown away.
The decor is very simple and the dishes were beyond thorough. My favorite is the beef cheek as it was more filling than the other dishes. You also can't go wrong with the exotic feeling that eating Tiger Prawns gives you.
I was also very impressed with the drinks here. Usually, you expect to taste alcohol in your drinks and it's okay because that means you're getting your money's worth. At Inko, I could hardly taste the alcohol, and not because of a lack of it, but because it was blended so well.
That theme is why I love their tastes in general. Most of their foods I tasted have this seamlessness where the dish you're eating is seasoned / flavored so well, it makes you question whether you've actually had it before.
Go here once in your life :)
Restaurants like these make me miss LA. Came here for happy hour and we wanted to order everything. We pretty much did and it all tasted so wonderful.
I just love everything about this place, from decor to the atmosphere to the food.
10/10 would eat here every day.
Super tasty food and upscale feeling both to the food and the environment. Their open display kitchen style is a very addition that makes the whole experience even better. A bit pricey, so not something you do often (I guess that depends on your budget) but definitely worth considering for a special occasion.
First time in downtown LA, was able to find parking in the area on Sun noontime. Love the interior decoration they have going on - beautiful modern (with a hint of transitional) Japanese. Expect a tapas style menu - lots of variety and flavors to choose from. My only disappointment was the portion size and a couple of the menu items - kim chi fried rice and shisito peppers (I was also sad that the charcoal coconut dessert wasn’t available that day). Must try the nigiri and cauliflower!
INKO NITO LA that was open less than 2 years ago has a verify of cocktails at Happy Hours. For example, the $6 Palomita, sakura tequila, lime, pink grapefruit, agave cocktail tastes very good.
With dineL.A. Restaurant Week 2020, we tried a $49.00 4-course dining menu.
The U10 scallop skewer is excellent or it can match or exceed the taste at the Patina Restaurant, The Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles. The Branzino is a little bit salty. The Creme Brulee is one of the best you can find.
The service is just okay, that's a main reason it falls to the 4.5 stars, instead of 5.
Gorgeous ambiance! Service was spectacular! And the food was amazing! I went for the dine la menu and we left super full and super happy!!
Really liked everything we ordered. My favorite had to be the BBQ ribs and Chinese broccoli. I do recommend you try their Palomita. It was amazing and refreshing.
AMAZING food! Family style Japanese inspired tapas. The ambiance is nice (though a bit dark in the evening), and the portions are a bit small for the price.
I am lucky to get 50% off during the soft opening (ended on Jan 07, 2018)
The seafood plates are all fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!
