There is definitely quality and freshness found here. Although a single chocolate will begin at a price of $3.50. so it's all pricey. But the flavor and quality are there. I am a huge classic dark chocolate fan. I can compare the dark chocolate to the truffles you find @sees candy. Unfortunately didn't try anything else but it all looks very good. Great customer service. The gal who helped me went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Even tho I knew I was only going to get a dark chocolate she still answerd any questions and provided me with a great service. I do wish they would label how much cacao is in the individually sold truffles.

Do you need a special treat? Do you love chocolate especially made fresh and not sitting in a box for months? Stop by JOHN KELLY CHOCOLATES and buy a few pieces or a box of chocolates for yourself or someone you love. Sure you can buy his chocolates at Neiman Marcus or Whole Foods. But this is the mothership where everything is made! This is the little store they have next door. I love the dark chocolate walnut clusters 💗 Spoil yourself and stop by..... You'll be glad you did ☀️

While walking to the Runyon Canyon, a friend showed me this store which just closed, as I was looking through the door, someone was still inside, he was kind enough to open the door for us and gave us chocolates to try, a salted dark chocolate truffle and a chocolate with caramel and walnut, both were delicious. I shall come back to get a box!

These really are the best chocolates I've ever had. They're hand-crafted, made from Belgian chocolate, and certified Kosher. Some favorites: a) dark chocolate & caramel w/ Hawaiian sea salt, b) dark chocolate & caramel w/ walnuts, c) dark chocolate with raspberry filling, d) walnut caramel cluster.

Received as a gift. Pretty sure they are the best chocolates I've ever had. The flavors are exquisite but it's the textures that really take it to the next level.

These are spectacular chocolates. I love the fact that this little shop Is tucked away on a side street in my neighborhood, and that the chocolates are made on site. There are many different flavors, but one basic concept. Almost all of the chocolates are the shape of a small bar, with a texture that, to me, is halfway in between fudge and a first-class truffle. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that they are pricey, and in the couple of years I have been buying them, the price keeps creeping up. A single chocolate, which admittedly is large enough and rich enough to be sliced into at least 3 or 4 pieces, is now $3.75. It's beginning to feel like, even though the neighborhood is anything but Beverly Hills, the prices are very definitely Beverly Hills. But they are wonderful, and the people running the shop are always cheerful and helpful, and samples are generously given.

We received these chocolates for Christmas. I believe the John Kelley chocolates have to be the best I have ever tasted. These were very smooth and rich but not over the top sweet. The consistency was just right. We are on the east coast so not local so ordered them on line. Not cheap chocolates but hast to be one of the best in the world.

The best chocolates in Los Angeles. Fantastic Walnut clusters. The peanut butter, dark chocolate and caramel are all delicious. The only thing I've ever had that was a let-down was the chocolate-covered fig. Everything else exceptional.

There is a small John Kelly Chocolate store on Montana in Brentwood where I stopped once for a gift. They have samples. Oh, dangerous. One bite and you are lost. I'm a big chocolate lover, and a lifelong fan of See's, and I've tried all the gourmet brands including Godiva, Edelweiss, and many many more. I must say that John Kelly tops them all. They are a bit expensive. But when you need a special treat, (one beautiful piece works nicely to set your day right) or want to give someone a gift who really appreciates the good stuff....I highly recommend. Anyway, I now stop in once a week. I shouldn't really, but I do.
