Joeys is solid! I’ve been to a couple locations and you just can’t go wrong. Solid happy hour, and great menu options. The sliders are pretty solid and the bowls are amazing! There is no bad option here! Stella was our server and she was phenomenal! I would highly recommend going to Joey’s!
Loved everything about this night! Spent 6 hours with a dear friend for dinner. One of the last to leave. Great waiter...great service...great food... Loved the crab cake! Marvelous vodka martini!
My recent visit to JOEY Woodland Hills was a mixed experience, with the standout being the delectable food, but unfortunately overshadowed by some glaring issues in the service department.
Let's begin with the positives. The culinary offerings at JOEY Woodland Hills are undeniably impressive. The tuna salad was a true gem, bursting with fresh flavors and vibrant ingredients. The steaks were cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's expertise in grilling. And the desserts were a delightful conclusion to our meal, leaving our taste buds satisfied.
However, the service aspect of the evening left much to be desired. The most glaring issue was the excruciatingly long wait time for drinks, which amounted to a staggering 35 minutes. To make matters worse, the waitstaff appeared inattentive, neglecting to clear empty plates and glasses from our table, leading to a cluttered and unappealing dining atmosphere.
The beverage mishaps were equally disappointing. An ordered virgin mojito with strawberries turned out to be a mixture of sparkling water and syrup, with a sour aftertaste. Similarly, when we requested coffee with milk, we were served coffee with cream. Furthermore, our bill included two lattes, though we had only ordered one. This necessitates a cautionary note to patrons: always scrutinize your receipt before settling the bill.
A final letdown was the lackluster attitude of the waitstaff. The absence of a warm and welcoming atmosphere slightly marred what should have been an enjoyable evening out with friends.
In conclusion, JOEY Woodland Hills boasts a menu with delicious offerings, particularly the tuna salad and steaks. However, the glaring service issues, notably the lengthy drink wait times and beverage mix-ups, detract from the overall dining experience. While the food is a definite highlight, improvements in service quality and attentiveness are warranted to match the culinary excellence this establishment has to offer.
Food was pretty good. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and it was delicious. My friend got the steak and I tried it and it was super tasty. And the Baja tacos were ok, I am more of a steak and chicken person. Definitely coming back. The place looks super classy and great place to come formal and informal.
Parking
Valet in the front or paid parking within the parking lot structure. They don’t give validation.
Ambience during the night
Music was bumping inside and the seating was packed. Outside was perfect especially with cool air and lower noise.
Service
Our server Ren was amazing! He was fully transparent and gave his recommendations and always was attentive
Food
- Tofu bowl - hard pass moving forward
- Roasted guacamole was amazing
- Steak and sushi was the perfect amount and the sauce was delish
- Herb crusted salmon was moist and just the amount of flavor
- Tuna salad was amazing too!
Met my friend here for a catch-up dinner and we had a lovely time! The atmosphere is comfortable casual and the wait staff charming. It was a tad loud for our older ears but otherwise there was not a single issue. I got the Crispy Tofu Bowl and was absolutely blown away by the incredible medley of tastes. Highly recommend!!
I went out to Joeys to get some drinks with friends. Darcie was our sever and man was she awesome! She gave us really good recommendations on food and drinks. The hibachi wings were tasty. Also I highly recommend trying their Moscow mule. The atmosphere was relaxing and well designed. This is my go to place for a nice night out!
The food is always good here. Service generally on point. It's great for a local spot we can walk to. I do however feel that for the price, the menu could be a bit more elevated.
Friday lunch was a delight. Our first time at the restaurant. Plenty indoor and covered patio seating. We joined our guest at the table. Seems like reservations are recommended. We have a lovely server who took good care and easily gave recommendations. We had the korean cauliflower, lettuce wraps with chicken and crab cakes. All were flavorful. The margarita had a nice salt. We were given small plates to share. The main course was salmon salad and bollywood butter chicken. Since we shared they got us split plates which was nice. The butter chicken sauce was great. The chicken could be tender and bbqed. Overall a great first experience.
Had an amazing expirence here, food was delicious. Drinks were amazing. The entire atmosphere was pretty cool. All though meal portions may be small, Yet it's enough to satisfy. Waiters/waitress were very professional which service was excellent.
