This place is what I would make when I’m super drunk and need food after a night of partying. Full of flavors!! They’ve got everything your fat persona may be craving. Don’t worry, vegetarians, they have seasonal charred vegetables on the menu too. Located in a central plaza in Chinatown, Chego is a creation of Roy Choy. I get stuffed each time I come here. Each plate is loaded with vegetables, meat, seasonings, fried bits of heaven-sent goodness and flavor. The boldness of the flavors keeps me coming back. Great spot to take a group of hungry people or to eat on your own. Parking is limited, find it along the streets.

You know how people will ask you to describe your last meal if you were in death row? I have a one word answer: Chego. The only thing better than their Chubby Pork Belly bowl is adding pork belly to the side of Ooey Gooey Fries. It’s truly happiness in a bowl.

Our best and memorable eat in Los Angeles. I suppose our experience here was the most inspiring for us as we thought it quite represents LA well with its fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors. Absolutely enjoyed the naked burrito bowl with Korean flavors there like gochujang, all the vegies and crunchy nuts and the smoky and flavorful pork belly. The flavor exploded in our mouth as it was spicy, sour, fresh, smoky, fatty and umami at the same time. Had an interesting dessert at the end with chocolate bar with spicy flavor in it.

Came here after reading through Roy Choi’s cookbook. Would definitely recommend if you are a fan of either Korean or Mexican food - and even more if you like spices! (Be careful with the sauce if you are sensitive like me) Great serving size (couldn’t finish) and service is a little slow but very polite (no line here compared to Howlin Ray’s next door).

This place is sooooo good, little hole in the wall joint but the food was delicious and HUGE, I ate the leftovers 3 additional times, no joke. This bowl is the tofu one, it’s spicy so be aware.

**** Officially closed ****AMAZING FOOD. Like nothing ive ever had anywhere else. Very unique cuisine. The mix of ingredients and flavors are to die for. I have a good orgasm every time. Followed by a food coma. My favorite dish is the pork belly but honestly everything here is super good. China town is lucky to have a restaurant as good as this. I read online that they will close at the end of April 2019. But I pray they will come back. Open up some where new. Come to city of industry. Service here is slow but the food makes up for everything. Food is worth the wait. It takes time to make food this good. Parking is not free but if your willing to walk there is plenty of parking 5-10min walk. The food is worth a bus ride, carpool, beg a friend to bring it back for you. Come before they close. God bless food establishments like this! Check u were the best. Open back up soon with a vengeance.

Don’t wait in line for the overhyped chicken across from this place. You can grab one of the best kimchi fried rice bowls while watching all of the sheep wait for some fried chicken. Great value. We shared one $10 bowl among 3 people.

You know you are a fatty when you drive to LA to get food. Thank god this place is delicious. We got here around 830pm. The place was still packed. It's located in the mall in Chinatown. This place serves Mexican fusion food and it was tasty. We ordered the Kung pao noodle, ooey gooey fries, and the steak sandwhich all of which was extraordinary. The flavors were on point. The noodle is quite spicy. The steak was very soft even though they give you quite a thick cut. Definitely highly recommended.

One of my new favorite places in Chinatown. You really can’t go wrong here. Pork belly is probably my favorite.

Small place but the food is good and has a unique fusion of flavors. The ooey gooey fries are amazing! I also like that they have vegetarian options.
