The restaurant is located on 71st floor of the Intercontinental Hotel. It is part of the Wilshire Grand Center and is the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. As one can expect, the views are phenomenal. There is valet parking at the hotel. We made reservations ahead of time and arrived a few minutes early. Our table was already ready and we were seated quickly. The ambiance and decor are elegant, while still being comfortable. It was fun to see the conversation chairs in the bar area. They are vintage 3 seat chairs which were used in the past for a couple and their chaperone. Our server was excellent and was very familiar with the menu and answered our questions. The menus are backlit. It's pretty awesome. Eliminates people shining their phone flashlights everywhere for a less cringe experience. Started with lobster bisque because it was a cold and rainy day. Very nice bisque that arrives with a skewer of lobster. If I had to find a fault, a touch under seasoned. For mains we split the 32oz Australian Wagyu Tomahawk and added on the A5 Wagyu Striploin. The quality and flavor of the steaks was stellar. On par with Wolfgang's Cut. A5 Wagyu Striploin came out perfect. 32oz Tomahawk was slightly above medium rare, but the meat is so tender it didn't worry us. It's a thick cut so likely just residual heat cooking. The steaks arrived with two salts and two mustards. Pink salt, lava salt, a yellow horseradish mustard, and a purple grape mustard. All were excellent. This was the first time I have ever eaten steak with mustard. It is good. Older reviews mention a steak guy, a mustard guy, and maybe even a steak knife guy. None of that was offered and might no longer be available. Perhaps it ended due to the pandemic? We didn't ask. Garlic-roasted seasonal forest mushrooms and a roasted vegetable medley were enjoyed for sides. Both were excellent. We also tried three sauces. Three-pepper cognac, Au Poivre, and Bernaise. Au Poivre was my favorite, bernaise for my wife. While all were good, we kept gravitating back to the mustards and salts. We would likely cut back on sauces for the next meal. No dessert due to being completely stuffed. Yes, it is an expensive meal, but the quality of food and the level of service you receive are worth it.

A fine dining restaurant with a good ambience and the best views of LA. Food is delicious and even though the portions may look less compared to usual restaurants its tasty and filling. As it was summer and the sunset is delayed we booked the seats around 6.30 so that we can enjoy the day views of LA and also by the end of our dinner the breathtaking shimmering view of the LA night. Window seats are mostly 2 seaters other than one at the far end which can seat 4 or 5 and those are assigned on first come bases. Once you dine in you can check with the restaurant staff and they can guide you to visit the 73rd open terrace bar called Spire73 which can be a cherry on top with amazing views of the Los Angeles city with clear views to Hollywood sign to Pacific Coast on clear days.

This is absolutely the best food, service, and overall dining experience I've ever had in my life. Every item was plated and cooked to perfection. The french onion soup was amazing, the Japanese waygu was even better. The charcuterie and cheese was above and beyond in the flavors. Speaking of flavor, the three pepper sauce, and the grape incorporated mustard enhanced the flavors of the whole meal. Our servers were polite, returned frequently, and answered any questions we had. My wife and I will absolutely be flying back to L.A, if for nothing else, to eat here again. Thank you Carlos for the amazing experience!

After having a truly awful experience @ Spire 73 I was hesitant to try the restaurant a floor below, but I’m so glad that I made the booking because not only was the view incredible but so was the food. Our server Ivan was very prompt and did a great job. A well known reality TV star was at the table next to us, but we pretended not to notice. One of the perks of dining in Los Angeles. La Boucherie is located on the 71st floor of the Intercontinental Hotel in the financial district of DTLA and being one floor lower than the tallest restaurant on the West coast, it’s easy to see why the views are so amazing: it’s because they’re literally unbeatable in terms of height. I started off with the Baked Oysters and really enjoyed them. Usually I prefer raw oysters but wanted to change it up tonight. The blue cheese crumble on top was definitely my favorite part. For my entree I chose the Prime Short Rib and ate every bit. It was almost crispy and delicious. For dessert we finished with the Chocolate Soufflé and although a bit expensive for $22 it’s to be expected in a hotel. Overall a terrific meal with truly memorable views. We were lucky to have a table against the window so we were able to gaze out over the city for the entire meal. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion, especially a special one.

It’s located on the 71st floor of the interContinental in downtown Los Angeles. Absolutely stunning views from most angles in the restaurant. Food and service was excellent! Not a steak girl - don’t even red meats. Went for Father's Day bc the men all love steak and family swears the Tomahawk and US waygu steak was amazing! I had the cod-esculent. Omg! Even the bathroom had a great view and I loved the décor. Bathroom was a huge highlight. Once you’ve finished your dinner, you can take your receipt and go up to the lounge area which was very nice vibe with good music. Gosh! Can’t recall what floor that was. I think 77th

All I can say is wow ! My husband surprised my daughter & I to an early anniversary dinner & oh my God... worth the money! All the staff was super nice, especially our server Joaquin. He was super duper nice & made conversations & was really fun to talk to & little did any of us knew that he was my dad's old old coworker from waaaaaay back in the day (late 90s/early 2000s), that was really fun to know! Small world ! We ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk for two, two drinks, bread, the Yukon potatoes & Joaquin at the end gave us some dessert. EVERYTHING was delicious from the drinks, to the main dish, to the dessert. We did get window seats but unfortunately, the night was foggy & up 71 floors, we couldnt see much but when we did, i snapped a quick pic. They do not have a kids menu but our daughter (8 yrs) was able to eat the wagyu meat since it was a good portion size for us 3. We will most definitely come back & ask for Joaquin again! We definitely had a good dinner!

Tricky getting a window table but if you book early they can accommodate, besides the stunning LA views, the charged spanish octopus was the highlight of the night for me. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, great spot to celebrate a special occasion.

This place is a wonderful place to eat. The service is fantastic and the food is very good. There is every type of wine you might want and spirits with the best view in LA. For every food item you get there is a variety of mustard, knifes, etc to pair with it. I would recommend saving room for desert as well. It's a high price but if you're celebrating, this is a great place to do it.
