Kura revolving sushi bar is fantastic. Food is great and the vibe is awesome. It’s a casual dinning. You even grab your own sushi. As well as being able to order specific items. If you eat enough food, you can even win a little prize.
Fantastic sushi and service. Loved the quality and atmosphere...and robot ! First time here for one week from the UK and was exceptional! Highly recommended.
I am usually not a fan of belt sushi, but I imagine this is close to what an experience in japan would be like. Lots of the things to order and price is pretty good. Be carefully since it all adds up.
We liked it enough to eat there twice during my trip. If you can get in when it's not a long wait/busy, the service is super quick.
A little crowded if you are being seated at the counter instead of table seating. Fish quality depends on the day you visit. It's really fresh sometimes while other times not so fresh. We usually order the Salmon Toro, Scallop, Ikura, Tuna, and their miso & cream cheese Salmon.
Somehow, I feel like this location has fewer options compared to other ones.
Can have a long wait if you visit during lunch/dinner hours. Wait is usually around 30 minutes to an hour.
First time here, had lunch with friends after reserving a spot through the app 15 minute earlier.
The experience was great. The hostess explained how it worked quickly and easily, then checked with us often to refill our drinks. They were super attentive.
The sushi was adequate for the price. I liked that I was able to try everything I wanted without breaking the bank. It was great, will definitely be back! 😄
I love Kura! Let's me try so many more different things thanks to the small plates, as a single person it's hard to do that at other sushi restaurants!
Honestly, this place is a fantastic option for a unique sushi experience or introducing friends to it for the first time. The staff is excellent, although be prepared for potentially long wait times on weekends. However, it's worth noting that it has become somewhat pricey, and opting for a traditional sushi restaurant might be both more economical and ultimately more satisfying. Nevertheless, the staff's excellence and the novelty of the experience make it an awesome spot, even if the initial excitement might wear off after a while.
I've eaten at the branch in Brea, and it's not bad! Little Tokyo also waited for 1 hour last time, and today it took 50 minutes to eat. The fish was not bad, I ate 13 plates.
Such a unqie experience. The little robot that drives around dropping of drinks!
If you have never been you should at least once. Ontop of that the food was great.
Fun, cute sushi place. The server was very nice and helpful. The sushi was really good too. Stuffed myself for $40
