Very good ice cream with great and not that common flavors: Persian cucumber, rose water with ginger, saffron with pistachio, lavender, matcha etc. After leaving in the Middle East for many years it is nice to try these flavors. The quality is good and the ice cream is not crazy sweet
I know countless types of flavors from many parts of the world, and thought I know all flavors until I came here. Many interesting flavors with amazing taste made by Mashti, by the owner. We stayed in Hollywood for 6 days, and yet we came 5 times.

"The Malone" / honey rosewater pastry with lavender and saffron rosewater with pistachio ice cream - 5 🌟!
Mashti Malone's is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight. They have been an LA Hollywood ice cream shop serving distinct, unique flavors long before most other places even opened up. Their flavor selection will look exotic to a westerner like me but not at all strange to their middle eastern guests.
Apparently lavender is like vanilla in some areas of the world. The Mashti Malone lavender does not shy away from leaning into the distinct, flowery taste. The rosewater is more subtle but still very nice and has little pieces of pistachio throughout.
They have three unique sundae style offerings that come with a middle eastern pastry. I went with the Malone which is sort of like a big, sticky, honey flavored cookie. It is too hard to cut into it with the plastic spoon which was not a problem for me.
Overall, a great place that some folks will likely never know is there since they tend to fly a bit under the radar. But if you are an ice cream fan and enjoy new flavors, give them a try!

Great homemade ice cream! I got 2 flavors - the vanilla and mango. Very creamy and delicious. We also tried their baklava. It was scrumptious. We looked up their website after and read they're number one in best ice creams in LA. I can taste why! Stop by here for some authentic persian ice cream for sure!
The Persian ice cream here is delicious. I love that the Creamy Rosewater. I can't wait to come back and try their other flavors!
I am ice cream lover. So I have tried many places. This place offers a very unique experience. Their ice creams are super flavorful. I can’t wait to try again. I wish they had stores in different states.
Saffron rose water with Pistachio gives you a taste of a royal flavor while the uniqueness and bite of sour cherry sorbet with rice noodles was incomparable!

Super unique ice cream place. LA relatives took me here after dinner on my last night in LA. I’ve never had anything like this ice cream. I got sour cherry with the vermicelli and pistachio with saffron I believe. Both were so good. I understand this is an iconic Persian ice cream place. Well deserved accolades! 🏆
One of।my favorite ice cream joints. I love their "Faludah" ice cream with lemon. They have so many varieties of ice creams not available at other ice cream places. It's a must try place if visiting the Hollywood area. You won't be disappointed
If you want a unique ice cream experience this is the place. There are so many different flavors. Things like rosewater,sweet cucumber, and saffron. Not the best ice cream I have had but definitely the most unique.
