Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill

we came for a late-ish friday night dinner without a reservation and the hostess was very accommodating in getting us in. the sushi was really good- fresh, interesting, and not super complex. the waiter did forget a few things (drinks, cutlery) but it was busy so i understand. the truffle fries were pretty good as a contrast to the rest of the sushi menu!

My first time here and I can say that they should earn more stars 🌟 I see people ordering chicken wings and fries, but I'm here because my friend told me that their sushis and sashimis are good as hell, and it's trueee 💃! We order so much food and I can't even remember the names of the dishes. So here I am trying my best to list what I love: - Kurodai Sushi 🍣. I never tried a black snapper sushi before, so this is my first time, and I need to ask my self 'Where have I been?' 🤣 And the best thing is that this restaurant adds a little bit of foie gras on top of the fish. OMG TOO GOOD 👅 - O-Toro Sushi 🍣. This one MELTS in your mouth! Too good to be true!!! Make sure to check the market price before ordering though HAHA 😆! - Hotate Sushi 🍣. I'm usually not a fan of scallop, but their scallop is honestly MIND-BLOWING 🤯! It's hugeeee and sweet, and buttery, and tender! Please get this because its sooo good 🤤 - Their carpaccios are also very good 😊. All the raw fish is fresh so everything tastes really good! Hamachi Usuzukuri, Kanpachi Usuzukuri, Kurodai Carpaccio, and Binnaga Tataki are all delicious 😋 - Oxtail fried rice 🍚. YUMMY, another favorite of mine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ♥️ Very rich in flavor, meat is sooo tender, it is incredible!! - Special Platter. We also get this special sashimi platter from the bar. The salmond is very unique and delicious. We're all not really sure what salmon it is, but all think it is a smoked salmon, but it's somehow still raw (idk HAHAHA). 🤣✨ A very nice dining experience here. Can't wait to go back because everything is just sooooo good. Get their raw fish, people!! 🫶🏻

My girlfriend and I got reservations here and we both enjoyed it. She got the chirashi bowl and I had fried rice with a side of the broccolini. She really enjoyed the variety in the bowl, and her main regret was that she didn't pace herself.

Love the interior design and lighting. Intimate yet aesthetically engaging. The fish is fresh and drinks are good.

My boyfriend and I got salmon nigiri and sashimi, yellowtail sashimi, tuna sashimi, miso soup, and a japanese whisky cocktail that tastes very similar to an old fashioned, but even BETTER. It was seriously one of the best cocktails I have ever had. And the food was delicious. The server was super knowledgeable and fast. The atmosphere was gorgeous and relaxing. We are definitely coming back.
