If your ever in West L.A this 50s themed diner has some good late night eats. There Turkey burger is very good and their bread pudding is off the hook. Big menu and priced decent.
Exactly what I hoped this place would be. Tasty breakfast, excellent service and authentic interior. . . Enjoyed eating here
Our Elite Tabletop Family cannot say enough amazing things about Cafe 50’s! From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a true, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & nostalgic items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM, checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! We would ❤️ to support you, supporting the local business community!
It's a popular spot to visit in LA for breakfast with fun 1950s decor. The staff had great uniforms and were fast as it gets crowded early. The breakfast meals we ordered were tasty!
Amazing , how lucky i am to find this spot !
I loved the food , the test is beyond amazing, the service is incredible
I will definitely come back again and again !
The prices are great 👍🏼
Café 50's is the perfect stopover while driving along America's most beautiful coastline. It's still some 1954, and they're serving a four-course breakfast: two fried eggs, two sausages, a hash brown, and two giant popcakes with syrup plus coffee (free refill). Everyone knows their leather sofas and bar with high red stools. As in most places living in another century, only cash is accepted for payment. The locals love it because it is not a stylization, but a real diner from the past.
Needed to kill some time and grab a bite to eat. This place is a perfect gem. The service was excellent and the staff was inviting and friendly. The shake menu is massive and the deserts look amazing. Loves the jukebox!
Fun fun staff (especially Mr Michigan who chatted with us volleyballers). Food is fresh, hot and fast. Shakes/malts OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Can you hear today on Christmas day with my wonderful family to try out this restaurant call café sisters are with Tristan directly. Her name is Kim Barry, family vacation, oriented, honest and sincere. Willing to help out the customer. Rubbish will be today. Everything that she brought us right away, I recommend this restaurant to anybody who is really hungry. We should have all the way from Montana down to Santa Monica just to eat here today and we had a great time and enjoyed having her as a waitress.
Great '50s diner... Loved the nostalgia on the walls. Food is really yummy.

Such a cool diner I love it here. Great food, exceptional customer service and cool nostalgic atmosphere:)
Had our first visit at the diner and we were so happy we were finally able to try it out after wanting to for years. The inside is so cute. 50s music playing, different objects, posters from the era. So fun. The food was delicious. Made fresh to order. We ordered the bacon cheddar fries, Monte cristo sandwhich and a double cheeseburger with Cherry cokes everything was so good. We walked out stuffed and satisfied. Our servers Adam and Victor were amazing. Friendly, attentive and when above and beyond to make sure we were ok or needed something. Victor made sure to ask if we wanted refills. Can't wait to go back.
