Love this place. Every time I come from San Antonio, I find my way to this place. The bagels are huge, they don't skimp on the cream cheese and the people are sooooo nice! I really appreciate them.

This place is AMAZING!! I grew up on Long Island and left in the mid 80's. I've been back to the island four times this summer, and before I return to New Mexico, I pick up 12-24 bagels to take home to family!! There is nothing like a quality NY bagel. During one of my visits this summer, an employee noticed me zipping up the bagels in gallon freezer bags. He came over and recommended I not seal the bags for at least 30 minutes since the bagels were still warm. I sealed the Baggs after I got through TSA security. WE LOVE LOVE LOVE BROOKLYN BAGEL & COFFEE COMPANY!! I'll be back one more time next week!
Funny how Brooklyn Bagel doesn't have a single location in Brooklyn... Anyways, we love getting our bagels from Brooklyn Bagel because their bagels are always soft and perfectly chewy. It also doesn't hurt that they have such a large selection of smears and bagel creations on their menu. My favorite is the Hungry Man on an onion bagel (or wrapped when I feel like having less carbs) and my wife's favorite is the Noguchi on a garlic bagel. The place can be quite crowded, but everyone moves quickly, so the place never gets crazy packed. There is a small dining area (~10 tables), but we usually take our bagels back to our apartment to enjoy. A very solid bagel shop and gives the New York style bagels a good name.

Bagels are good. Boiled so they have a great texture. The Cooper sandwich is awesome mainly because the smoked salmon tastes so fresh. If you get a bagel with cream cheese just know that they’re going to put an inconceivable amount on there, which might be good or bad depending on how much you like cream cheese. but regardless, the food is great with many vegan options to go.

The bagel was HUGE! Definitely worthy of splitting between two people.
The coffee was good. They made it the way I wanted it.
You can’t say it’s overpriced because you get what you paid for.
Got 2 bagels: pumpernickel-everything with a jalapeno-asiago spread and cinnamon-raisin with a blueberry spread. We also ordered hazelnut coffees. Bagels were fresh - lots of spread, but I'm fine with that because they were delicious. Service was incredible - as soon as we walked in - we were offered several samples of their spreads. Coffee was good. Would return to try the croissant. Highly recommend.
Why so much cream cheese?
Had to scoop out the cream, way too much.
