My favorite place on the planet to eat sushi and egg drop soup. No msg or preservation in the soup and the sushi is made to perfection.
If I recommend any place in Long Beach to eat, this would be first on my list.

& special crunchy roll are my fav!! Always such great service, along with great food! I'm an avid sushi lover and this is my favorite place to go!!
First time to eat at On a Roll Sushi and I was very pleased. It's a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and seemed to know many of the patrons. The sushi was really good and I will look forward to try more in the future.
Great place! If it's not on the menu, just ask. They made a chirashi bowl for my husband and it was great. Sweet chili sauce put it over the top. We drive down from Jackson to visit family and friends and will definitely be here often.
On A Roll is on a roll!!. Great little cozy place in the heart of Long Beach. Staff is very nice and the owner is so welcoming.-making everyone feel like she has know you for awhile, even if it is your first time there. If it keeps up they will out grow the place!
I LOVE the Long Beach Roll... ( of course we all tasted others but I think each time the Long Beach roll is on the top of my list!)
Great Sushi!. Great sushi and very friendly service, my personal favorites were the E-Love roll and the Tasty Tail roll. The egg rolls and fried banana desert were also good, we went all out haha.
Great sushi. I have eaten there many times and I think the food is great and the atmosphere is even better. A must if you like sushi

Enjoyed it .... Had lunch for the first time. I had one of the lunch specials which included Miso soup, a sushi roll, and 5 pieces of nigiri sushi. The Miso soup was ok, but I would probably have the egg drop soup the next time. The sushi was good. I had the spicy tuna roll, which was really good. The nigiri consisited of 5 pieces, chefs choice. Mine included tuna and salmon.
The restaurant itself is pleasant and attractive. Prices seem very reasonable.
Service was good overall; I asked my server what the 5 pieces of nigiri were, and she was able to identify a couple of the pieces but didn't seem too interested in finding out what they each were.
I enjoyed it and will try it again.

Long Beach Needed This. What's not to like about this restaurant. The sushi is amazing! I suggest the Fins Up roll. I'll be back to try everything else they had to offer. Also it's brown bag so bring a bottle of wine when you come.
Best place in town hands down. If you haven't been here yet you are truly missing out! Great food! Great people!
This place topped the trip!! Owner is freaking awesome and loves what she does and it shows. She's customer oriented and brings a smile to the table. Food was beyond delicious. So much so that you have to buy a bottle of their ginger sauce! Hot sake was beautifully mellow. Sashimi is super fresh and always delicious. Will return every chance given.

Everything we had was delectable from the baked lobster to the Bear Cat Roll and Sushimi. We're new to the area so we've found our favorite Sushi restaurant. Thanks Whitney and staff
Love this place. It’s always reliably good. You’ll get great service and food everytime! They have a great menu and are also really good about letting you modify your food to whatever is reasonably possible. Would recommend for sure!
It was my first time here and it will NOT be my last. Great music. Awesome staff. And AMAZING food! Overall fantastic experience!!
